The sound of the harsh thunder is still loud around the house, Max staring out of the window with her side leaned against it as she stares at the rain hitting the window, Niccolò being in the room as well on the phone.
"And now we're in here in her room." Niccolò gets done explaining the story.
"Where is she?" Sam asks, him being in the room with Susan, Lorenzo and Elio.
"She's...." Niccolò looks over at her, her back being turned to Niccolò as she stares out of the window. "I really don't think she wants to talk right now."
"Put it on speaker." Sam says, Niccolò going to put the phone on speaker. "Princess?"
"My girl we know you don't want to talk right now and that's fine." Susan says. "Just know that I love you so much. Things happen, things like this happen okay? Just call me when you are ready to talk."
"Yeah we can play some COD to keep your mind off of it." Lorenzo adds in, him going to lightly slap Elio's chest.
"Max, get your shit together and talk to him."
"Elio!" Everyone scolds, Elio just rolling his eyes simply.
"I could slap you sometimes, Elio!" Susan says madly.
"You already do, mother."
Max goes to get up, her going to stand next to Niccolò and take the phone. "Weren't you the one that tried to give him amnesia that way he could be far away from me?"
"Sí."
"And now you want me to talk to him?"
"That's what I just said, Sí."
Max rolls her eyes while gripping the phone hard. "Screw you, Lio!"
Sam huffs out as the line disconnects. "Come on, Lio."
"It's the truth." Elio shrugs simply. "Sometimes truth hurts."
"Maxy sad?" Silvia questions softly, her tugging on Lorenzo's pant leg.
"Maxy is just...going through some things." Lorenzo goes to pick up Silvia.
"She's putting it on herself." Elio comments.
"Elio!" Susan scolds. "No you get back here boy!" She yells when Elio leaves out of the room. "Elio! I swear to god and all that is fucking holy!"
