"Thank you for staying here." Charles tells Zayn, both of them being outside Lucas's medical room that he is in. "Guards and housekeepers will still be around here if you need anything."
"Of course." Zayn replies. "I hope this gets you all the closure you need, at least temporary closure until you all can have the real funeral after Lucas wakes."
"Yeah I hope so too." Charles replies.
Zayn takes a little breath while Charles goes to walk away, him going back inside of Lucas's room.
Sue stares down at the picture of her and Kendall when he was a new born, her being dressed in all black attire. She feels her eyes pool with tears, holding the picture close to her.
Charles wraps his arms around her from behind, kissing her cheek softly as she leans on him. "You ready?"
Sue slowly nods, her and Charles going to leave out of the room.
Suzie and Dustin are crouched down in front of Tabitha, Tanner, Tatum, Sterling and Cornelius, helping them adjusts their clothes.
"Why do we have to say goodbye to Kendall?" Cornelius questions. "He said that we would still play together after the attack."
Suzie swallows, her taking a little breath. "Kendall is in a better place now."
"Where is he?"
"He's up in heaven."
"Well can he come back? I wanna play with him again."
"He can't, Cornelius." Tabitha tells him. "He's no longer alive."
Erica listens from behind the cracked door, her holding her head up and going to begin blinking her tears away.
"It's okay to let the tears go, you know."
Erica turns around, seeing Nancy standing behind her with Steve, Jonathan, Mike and Jane, Argyle and Robin being with them as well.
"I came along...too if you don't mind." Argyle says. "Me and Kendall always hung out when he came over to the Races."
"Yeah it's okay." Erica nods. "Thank you all for coming. I know it isn't the actual funeral but....."
"Half way funeral or not, we were going to be here." Mike assures.
Erica nods, Holly coming over to her and going to smile softly, Erica smiling back tightly at her.
