"Focus on breathing, okay? Just breathe, your body knows what to do, you just breathe with me. Big inhale and long exhale." Alira tried to distract her daughter from the fact that there's a whole baby ripping her vagina at this moment.

Runan did as her mother told her to and took a deep breath. She only wished Abre was here with her, comforting her instead of her mother, not that she didn't appreciate her mom, but Abre- well actually never mind, he would most likely start panicking more than Runan herself and made everything worse, so it's probably for the best that he's not here with them.

Abre wanted to come, to support his woman and be there for his baby's first breath, but Alira thought it would be too risky and obvious if he'd be seen there, so he had to stay away.

They didn't really have a plan for the after Runan gives birth, since hiding a newborn is very hard, especially when the baby is of 'mixed' parents. They kind of discussed leaving the village and living somewhere far away from here, but that would have to wait for after Runan heals and when they're a hundredth percent sure her or the baby don't need any assistance. And even after they leave, it would be very difficult, given the fact that they live and a very thin edge with the Dathomirians.

The Dathomirians are still not over their loss and are looking for a single sign that the Sol'Adorar may have weakened and use this to finally dominate and claim this planet, like they always planned, if the Sol'Adorar didn't stay in their way. Our little family leaving the clan may bring unbelievable chaos not just among the tribes of the Sol'Adorar, but also among them and the Dathomirians, it may just be the sign they were looking for, and that could mean another decades of war.

-Little did they know it wouldn't even take two days, but that's a story for later. -

Runan wasn't very fond of this plan, but what other choice did they have? If anybody found out about hers and Abre's relationship and that they have a baby, she can't even imagine what would happen, she knows it's forbidden to have any kind of romance across tribes, but nobody really knows what would happen to the ones who break this rule.

But if they leave, there's is a big possibility, that they will encounter some Dathomirians and Runan isn't really sure if she could hold herself from killing them.

You see, she has a personal issue with those bastards, like many of the Sol'Adorar do. The last battle between their two clans was almost 25 years ago, her father fought in the last battle, and he was killed. - No, what they did to him was far worse. They called him an 'example' and executed him. He was unarmed and he begged for his life, for a negotiation, but they didn't care, those heartless cunts cut his head off in front of his weeping, helpless wife and his three-year-old daughter. So, you must understand who would she betray if she didn't let herself kill them on sight.

Of course, there was a dilemma in her head, if she killed them, she would honor her father, but also, she would send her people on a death row, as the Dathomirians would definitely not let this pass, and that was a price she wasn't sure she wanted to pay. Her father would want her to avenge him, but not at the risk of their whole clan.

Fortunately, that was a problem for her future self, for now she wasn't even sure, if she'd survive her childbirth. Her whole body was shaking, sweat dripping from her and breathing was getting hard for her, but then she started to feel a sudden subtle relief and before she knew it, she was holding her baby wrapped in cloth on her chest and cries filled the hut.

"A little girl." Alira spoke and smiled at her daughter and her new grandchild.

"A girl." Runan repeated in a whisper, as that was all that she was able to say through her sobs and fastened breathes. She looked over her daughter's face and smiled at the small resemblances between her and her parents. Her skin grey like her mothers, her eyes red, like her fathers. Her hair is black with some red in it, showing who's genes where obviously the dominant. Her nose small, her lips a rosy pink, but what caught her attention are the birthmarks on her face. Two black lines on both her cheeks, going down her neck, but where they went, she wasn't sure, since she was wrapped tightly in cloth she couldn't see.
