A history lesson

My last thoughts before I died where of me and my master. Even after all these years, I still hoped he would come back, and we would get to run away and finally live peaceful life.

A spark lit in my heart, when I felt arms wrap around me, picking me up and carrying me somewhere. I wanted to open my eyes, I wanted to see who it was, praying it was my dad taking me somewhere safe, but suddenly, opening my eyelids was harder than lifting up a ton-weighing stone.

All I could do was listen to the muffled voices. I couldn't decipher what they were saying, or who they even belonged to, but I couldn't do anything about that, I just have to trust them.

--

I'm not even sure if I passed out or the world just moved so fast now, but when I finally opened my eyes, I found myself laying in a strange, dark room. I wasn't anywhere I recognized.

I sat up and met my gaze with many women. Nobody spoke a word, I just stared at them in utter shock. They were four, all seemed to be from Dathomir, although they didn't seem to be all that same.

Two of them were around my age, maybe slightly older, and they sat and some chairs by the door.

The one on the right had blue skin, and she had white hair, just touching her shoulders. She also had these freckle-like spots all over her face.

The other one had deep red skin with even darker red hair pulled up in a bun and she had three parallel lines over her right cheek.

They were both clad in dark red robe-like dressed, and they were both looking at me with a certain curiosity.

The two other women were older, something around forty in standard years, they wore bright red robes, one of them though wore a shaman hood over her head, meaning she must be the one in charge here. Just then I realized these must be the Dathomirian witches and my whole body stiffened.

"There is no need to be afraid child, after all we have just saved your live, no?" the leader woman said, her voice echoing through the room loudly, like some evil, dark entity.

She was right, I guess it wouldn't make much sense for them to heal me if they wanted to kill me again, but on the other hand, I still remember what that piercing seller said to me and suddenly I wasn't so sure.

I tried to tap in the Force, to see what their true intentions were, but I couldn't feel a single feeling or a thought. They were powerful in the Force, they must've blocked me out. Damn it.

I just kept staring at them, only slightly nodding my head to show the woman I heard her. She didn't say anything though, so I had to take the word and break the silence.

"Why did you save me?" I asked, I honestly wanted to know. All I heard about the Dathomirian Sisters, this is an unexpectable thing for them to do.

"I see you've been fed many lies. I shall reveal the truth to you, if you are ready." she clasped her hands in front of herself, her long fingers tangling between themselves, and a small, understanding smile appeared on her lips.

"I don't understand... Please, tell me." I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion. My eyes darted between all the sisters in the room, my eyes landing on the other adult woman when she began speaking.

"We were always aware of you, Ezra. We have mourned your potential, when it was being wasted with the Nightbrother Sith lord, Maul. We couldn't reach you, not even when he was out of the way. Now we are glad you can finally embrace your fate, and see the truth. With us." she began explaining, my confusion just growing bigger.

"You are not aware of your past, your ancestors, you aren't ready for the future." the leader woman said, correcting the sister next to her.

"I do know about them, my Master told me." I said, still trying to understand what their deal was.
