"You're here because of Maul, aren't you?" she asked looking up to the Jedi master for an answer. Despite her hate towards Jedi, she knew they would tell her the truth about him, so she had to suffer them for now.

"Yes." Obi-Wan affirmed, he thought she already knew the truth, so there was no point in lying to her. He just hoped it wouldn't affect her too much.

"Do you know what happened to him?" she asked, almost innocently. Maybe she didn't know. Well, this doesn't look very good for him. But he didn't want to lie to her, she would've learnt anyways, and it would be way worse that whatever happens now, so he confessed.

"I killed him. I'm sorry, now I truly am." he said, his eyes never leaving her, readying himself for an attack.

"What?!" she scowled, she didn't believe what she was hearing. She was standing in front of the murderer of her master, of her dad. Tears started to push through, but she holded them back, and replaced her sorrow with fury. She didn't care about being rational anymore, she only wanted him to die for what he has done.

With a deep breath she launches at him, lightsaber in her right hand going straight for his neck. Obi-Wan reacted fast, dodging her attack by a few centimeters, then he ignited his lightsaber, but holding back he tries to stop her: "Please, I don't want to hurt you, kid!"

Like she didn't hear him, she turned to him and continued her attacks. Shades of purple danced all around them as they fought. Well, as Ezra fought, Obi-Wan mostly just blocked her blows and still tried to reason with her. "At least let me explain, please!"

"There is nothing to explain, Jedi!" she spat, and when she delivered her next strike, she ignited her second lightsaber, going for his legs, catching Obi-Wan by surprise. Unfortunately for her, the master was quick to react and pushed her away through the Force, so she missed him completely.

Satisfied with her attempt to push him in offence, she connected her lightsabers together, spun them around into a fighting stance and waited for him to come to her.

Obi-Wan, torn down by the reminder of the Sith, that killed his master, strode towards her and fell right into her trap. This should be quick.

She jumped towards him last second, slashing up then down, and when he was blocking her bottom blade, she raised her hilt up, hitting the Jedi in his face, and when he grunted in pain, she took advantage of his incautiousness and stabbed him in his stomach, or at least she planned to.

Sadly, the master somehow predicted her tactic and spun away, before being impaled. Caught off guard, she didn't see Obi-Wan on her side, before he grabbed her and pushed her to the ground. She tried to crawl away, but when she laid her eyes on the passed-out boy on the other side of the room, she froze. She froze, because she realized she just did the very thing she swore she'd never do; she hurt somebody. Overwhelmed by her emotion, confusion, rage, fear and sadness mixing together, there was nothing she could do about the tears running down her cheeks.

She didn't even know what to do, she just wanted for the Jedi to go away, to leave her and just be gone. She knew she couldn't win against him, not anymore, not in the state she was now in. So, she just kneeled on the ground and cried, hoping he would kill her and put her out of her misery. It's not like he wouldn't, it's what the Jedi do. They kill, because they're evil and they're monsters.

She felt her lightsaber whooshing away from her towards the Jedi, and she just accepted her fate. She didn't even care, she had no longer anything to life for anyways. At least she'd be with her dad then. What surprised her though, was the sound of a lightsaber shutting down. What was he doing?

"I'm so sorry, I know it's hard to trust me, I don't know what you think I am, but please, at least give me a chance to explain." Obi-Wan began, and when the crying girl didn't say anything, he sat next to her and continued: "I don't know what he told you, but your father wasn't the man you think he was. Maybe he was kind to you, but he wasn't a good man."
