"And that's why I like it here better." Anakin finally stopped speaking after what felt like hours of him ranting about his childhood on Tatooine. We were sitting in the Temple gardens, looking out on Coruscant's horizon. After the many days we spent on all different kinds of missions away from Coruscant, I must say I missed the familiar surroundings of my home.
"Because there's no sand here?" I question him, looking at him with a raised eyebrow and a small smirk. I had known Anakin for almost two years, but he's still able to shock me with some ridiculous fun facts about himself, that he'd drop from now and then.
"Yep." he answered shortly, smiling to himself, not tearing his gaze away from the view.
I just shake my head and look back, my eyes following some ships leaving atmosphere, before I feel a familiar presence slowly getting closer to us, so I turn my head slightly and greet him.
"Master Kenobi." I look at him when he approaches us, nudging Anakin to acknowledge his master. He nodded and turned to him, but before he could ask Obi-Wan about what is he doing here, he beat him to it.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your meditation session that I told you to do, but the Council has assigned us another mission." he eyed us with an annoyed, puzzled look, while stroking his beard.
"Another one?! But we just got back from the last one..." Anakin whined, holding his head in his hands. Even though I agreed with Anakin's whiny statement, something about Obi-Wan's expression intrigued me.
"What kind of mission?" I asked him and got up to stand in front of the master.
Obi-Wan sighed, and after a few seconds he began explaining: "A few years ago, Master Pali and her padawan Raok went missing, after being assigned on Serenno to resolve some local problems, and they weren't seen or heard of since. We though they had died, but not even their bodies have been found... Up until now. The council received a call from some locals saying they found Jedi, cut up in some old warehouse." he looked disgusted, at a loss of words. I looked at Anakin with wide eyes, not knowing how to react but he looked as shocked as I was.
We stood there in silence for a little, and the more I thought about what he said, the more something stirred inside of me. -Serenno, a master and a padawan, murdered in an old warehouse... It all seemed vaguely familiar, which scared me the most.
Could it possibly be... I prayed my senses were wrong, that this wasn't what I thought it was, but as we made our way towards the building it all took place in, things became more and more familiar, until I could see the picture clear. It's them. Oh Force no...
I closed my eyes for a second, trying to shake their screams out of my head and calm down, but my efforts were in vain. I recognized Obi-Wans voice, he was talking to me, but I couldn't make up what. All I could hear now were the pleas for my mercy, for me to spare their lives. I didn't and that choice will haunt me until the rest of my days.

"Master Pali, are you sure this is the place?" I ask my master as we walk in a bar full of some real mean looking people.
"Yes, now shush and let me do the talking. Wouldn't want to have another Ryloth situation on my hands again." she responds and shoots me a warning raised eyebrow before smiling and walking toward a table in the back of the pub.
I chuckle lightly, remembering the last time my master let me handle the negotiations, and... well let's just say I didn't learn my master ways of talk yet. Key word: yet.
When I look around, my smile drops fast, as all the heads are turned to us, watching our every move. I guess they're not used to outsiders. Maybe the cloaks aren't such a great disguise after all.
