Stop talking!

As I neared the corner who would reveal the hangar, I started to hear the buzzing of lightsabers, the grunts of fight. No, wait. That's the buzz of a lightsaber, just one. And those are grunts of pain, not fight. Oh, shit!

I fastened my steps, still not igniting my lightsaber, to not make myself know until I want to, and I was horrified to see what was happening. I knew that Tyranus was strong, but to best two Jedi in just a few short minutes, maybe I really don't know what's coming for me.

Anakin was laying by a wall to my right, moaning in pain and light smoke was coming from him, he must've been hit with that lightning. I felt bad, I know very damn well just how terrible that is.

Obi-Wan, on the other hand, was laying before Dooku, squirming in pain, holding his leg, and Dooku was about to strike him down. I put on a hard face, to hide my utter fear, and held out a hand.

When he went down, he missed and burnt the ground by Obi-Wans feet. For a second, he seemed confused, his head tilted, but then he straightens his body, and just slightly turns his head to the side.

"To think you were once in my spot, and now you're saving them? What has changed, my dear child?" he said, humor lining his tone heavily. He was enjoying this, taunting me. I let my eyes drop to Obi-Wan to make sure he was still somewhat alright, then returned my gaze to the Sith, finding him fully turned to me. He was smiling, ear to ear, and that even deepened my frown, I was staring at him throw my eyebrows at this point.

"I learned the truth." I told him, still trying to told my tone even, but I felt it bubble inside me, the rage, the disgust, the fear.

I saw Anakin trying to get up, but I raised my hand just slightly to tell him to stay down. He did, but not because I told him so. He was interested in this whole interaction.

"But you still kept it away from them, didn't you? You hated being kept in the dark, yet you left them there yourself." he teased. He put his saber hilt back to his belt, and I noticed mine hanging on the other side. It's weird that he kept it, but I don't complain.

"So, tell me, how much do your friends actually know?" He looked around, on Anakin then on Obi-Wan. He wanted me to say it, but I didn't know what was worse. I just followed his actions, looking on Anakin standing to the right of us, then on Obi-Wan still laying down in pain. They were looking at me. My expression softened slightly; I was deciding what to do.

Before I could decide on anything though, a wicked chuckle ripped through the silent room. "They really don't know anything? I thought you told them at least something, but no, you really lied to them like that... Tsk tsk tsk, when my Master and I decided to kill you, it was purely because we didn't want you running off somewhere, revealing anything, but perhaps we could've spared those efforts." he stepped forward, intensely watching my face, hoping he'd catch me off guard, but I remained still. I won't let him scare me off, not like last time.

"What- What is he talking about? Ezra?" Anakin asked me, his eyebrows squished together in confusion, as he made his way around Dooku.

I wanted to say it, I wanted to look at him, I wanted to cry, but like my body just turned into some different settings, my mouth shut and my eyes trailing Dooku's movements, like hunters on its prey.

"Ezra? Is that what you call yourself now?" he sighed dramatically and stopped in his tracks, slapping his sides with his arms, like a small child. "So will you do the honors, or will you let me reintroduce you to the Jedi, Dar-" he began, but just when he was about to say that name, I cut him off.

"Stop talking." I spat, my hand shot to the lightsaber on my belt and I ignited it, readying myself to attack. "I'm not that person anymore, she doesn't exist anymore."
