"We're leaving for Concordia at once." Obi-Wan's voice rang through the empty hallway I found myself in at this moment. For the past hour or so, I've been roaming around the palace, trying to pass time, when I heard an explosion coming from the city center. Not long after did Obi-Wan call me.

"So, we're done here?" I sighed, knowing very well the answer, but still a small amount of excitement clawed inside my body, that perhaps for once we could have a quick and easy mission.

"Quite the opposite. Meet us at the hangar, fast." he answered with a deep sigh and his words crushed that feeble excitement as fast as it came, and so I turned around a dragged myself back to where we first arrived.

-----

Concordia looked far better than Mandalore, well greener anyways. The nasty feeling in my stomach tells me that I won't like it as much when I step a foot there. From what Obi-Wan told me, my mind agrees with my gut feeling.

As we stepped off the ship, we were greeted by an intimidating, white haired man, who stood before us with his arms behind his back, looking like he owns this place. Which he probably does.

"Dutchess Satine, you are most welcome." he nodded towards her, excusing mine and Obi-Wan's presence.

"Thank you Governer Vizsla. May I present Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his companion, Ezra, representing the Jedi Council." she introduced us, motioning her hand between us with subtle elegance. On our way here, Obi-Wan explained to the Dutchess my position, so she doesn't confuse me with Jedi, knowing well I'm not happy being called one. It seems she understood well, thankfully.

"Governer Vizsla is one of the officials I spoke of. He has been working to find the members of the Death Watch." she added, and I didn't fail to notice the smirk that appeared briefly on his lips. What's up with the weird guys today? Whatever we are supposed to find here, I bet it has to do something with him. I'm not yet sure if he's involved somehow, or just aware, but I'll definitely keep an eye on him.

"I take it you've heard the rumors about Satine, about how she's supposedly leading Mandalore into an alliance with the Separatists." the Governer said bluntly, his eyes switching between Obi-Wan and I with each word.

"Our only instructions are to seek the truth." Obi-Wan answered calmly, like always. I honestly don't know how is he doing that, if it were me doing the talking, I would've exploded like ten time already. Well, it's a good thing I at least know how to keep my mouth shut.

The conversation quickly diverted to the bomber's body, and when the Governer left to attend to it, Obi-Wan turned to me and the Dutchess.

"I need a favor from you. Please keep Governor Vizsla occupied at dinner." he said, his eyebrows scrunching in nervous focus, like he's deciding on what he wants to do.

"And where are you going?" I asked him, while crossing my arms. I'm already used to not being always around Obi-Wan, and I understand that some missions are a one-man job, but I sincerely don't want to be stuck around complete strangers, while he's out having all the fun.

"Just for a look around. I'd like to see one of these mining facilities for myself." he stroked his beard in thought, like he does all too often.

"You mean you want to snoop around and determine if they're still functional." I deadpanned, and if it wasn't for my usual monotone voice, it'll sound more like a whine, hinting Obi-Wan that I was, in fact, not happy about the favor.

"I hope to determine they're not." he pointed at me with a smirk, before going to grab something from his belt.

"I want you to wear this earpiece so that we can stay in contact, in case you run into trouble while I'm gone." he said, still smirking, while handing the earpiece to the Dutchess.
