"Anakin, did I ever tell you just how much of a terrible pilot you are?" I said, standing up and brushing myself off, recovering from a crash caused by none other than Anakin.
"Yes, but if it wasn't for Obi-Wan's terrible aiming skill, we wouldn't be in this situation." Anakin shot me a sharp glance, annoyed by my bugging.
"Poor girl, she will never fly again." I dramatized, eyeing the light smoke coming from the ship's controls.
"Oh, come on, it's not that bad!" Anakin defended, but I noticed the scrunch of his nose when he looked around the ship.
"Just be glad we survived." Obi-Wan gave me a nod with a playful smile. I shook my head in disbelief, sighing I made my way outside to see the real disaster.
I looked the ship over and decided it's a good thing Ahsoka is near, because otherwise we wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. But now, we're stranded here, just like Dooku.
"Dooku." I nodded over the ship a few meters before us, looking rather abandoned.
We made our way around Dooku's ship, checking it, when Obi-Wan noticed a homing beacon attached to the side of his ship.
"The distinguished count is waiting for help. So, he can't be far off." Anakin stated, looking over his shoulder. I knelt down to the ship's level, analyzing the damages.
"His engine is busted. He's not going anywhere." I informed the Jedi, standing up once again and crossing my arms I tried to find where could the count go. In the meantime, Anakin destroyed the beacon and joined me with Obi-Wan by my side.
"There! Caves are a good start." Obi-Wan pointed over to some entrance on my left. And so, with a nod of confirmation we made our way towards the cave.
--
"I don't like this one bit." I whispered, checking my surroundings with my lightsabers as the only light source. I could sense the beings hidden inside this cave, as well as Dooku, their eyes followed our every move.
"You're not the only one. Let's just get this over with." Anakin chimed in, but then he stopped, raising his hand up to alert and stop us as well. "What's that?" he asked, but just as he did, the rocks above us started to crumble and fall.
"Run!" I screamed, dodging the boulders before they could crush me below them. I spared one look behind me to make sure Obi-Wan and Anakin did as I told them to, but it was a mistake I realized too late, as a rock came crashing at me, knocking me out cold.
----------
"Master! Obi-Wan, can you hear me? Ezra?" I hear Anakin call out as I struggle to get up. I hear more rocks crumble to the ground in the distance, so I bite down the pain caused by my collision with the rocky ground and make my way over there hastily. Just as I get a glimpse of Anakin though, I ease up.
"Anakin, when someone tells you to run, run." I said, slowing down in front of him, checking around in hope of finding my other friend, but when I see no trace of her, my muscles tense up again.
"Master! You're alive." he sighed a breath of relief at the sight of me. My eyes caressed Anakin just briefly to make sure he wasn't injured, before going back to scan our surroundings.
"Where's Ezra? And where's your lightsaber?" I asked him, crossing my arms before myself, finding comfort in the gesture. I notice Ezra doing so often, and I think I understand why.
"It got knocked out of my hand. And uh, I don't know where she is." he said distastefully, looking around us.
"By a rock?" I said with a touch of humor, but then I turned around to go look for Ezra. I caught a 'Yeah, by a rock.' from Anakin, but decided to pay it no mind. Thankfully it didn't take long, before I heard Anakin call: "I got her!"
