The Noble House Black.

Part 1

Leo's Pov, 

Stading in the great hall as more and more students pool into the large roon my eyes are on the teachers table before I feel a arm snake around my shoulders. "Well, well, well look what the cat dragged in." The voice of Daphne says making me turn towards her as she has a grin on her face. 

"Ooo still sour that you lost last year or that I didn't invite you for the kicking Quirrell's ass." I say with my own smile making the blonde shrug her shoulders.  "Sour? We will just have the floor with you guys this year." Blaise says as he moves to stand on the other side of me and the boy I think grew like 4 inches in the summer! "What have they been feeding you?!" 

"Probably the same as you, you've also grown." He says with a playful smile on his lips. "Alright boring let's get the year started." Daphne says with a roll of her eyes as she starts to walk over to the Slytherin table. 

"She'll get worse with every year mark my words." Blaise says with a shake of his head before he starts to also walk away to the table. "As you say Zawini!" 

"It's Zabini, Black!" He yells back with a roll of his eyes making a chuckle leave my lips, it's always funny to mess with Blaise. Smelling Vanila, parchment and mint I let a smile grow on my lips. "Good evening Hermione." 

"H-how did you know it was me?" The girl says as she comes into view and I shrug my shoulders. "Your perfume, now come on grandfather should be starting his speech soon before the first years will be sorted. Also I loved your letter about your summer." I say as we start to walk towards the Gryffindor table together. 

"I-I liked your letters too." 

Albus's Pov, 

"Good evening Headmaster." The voice of Rowena says as the night has long fallen and I wish to speak with the Founders about if they know more about what will come our way.... about what will happen for Leonidas. 

"He passed his test with almost ease last year." I say as we had given the boy tests for the second years. "As was expected you've been keeping him in the castle since before he could walk, and beside that he has a pair of brains." Goderic speaks and I nod my head in agreement while the portret of Salazar is empty right now. 

"What Quirrell did should have killed him using the crusiatus curse for so long on a boy so young." 

"And yet he's strong.... he has a strong heart. This year we will help him be more ready for battle." Rowena says as she waves her hand and I look behind me to see a large double door appear before it opens and there are magical dummies around the place it's ideal to practice magic in a save environment. 

"He's 12 and getting ready to fight a war.......... sometimes I still see that boy wrapped in a blanket crying for his mother when Hagrid took him and Harry to me." I say with a soft smile as I turn back to the three founders. "He's 12 and getting ready for war indeed, but he has to be ready he is brave, kind, smart and many more things but he needs to be able to use the full powers of his magic." Helga says and I nod my head. 

"He'll train here a couple times a week as I will cut back some of his classes, but don't push him to far..... for now we must also let him be a child and not a soldier." I say making the three of them nod their heads as I briefly look towards the chamber Leo peacefully lays asleep before walking out of the room with a heavy breath. 

Minerva told me about him running into Remus, he thinks Remus didn't want him that he wanted to abandon him but Remus was young and always was conflicted with his Werewolf side, a side he holds no control over and a side that many wizards look down upon and thus will not hire the man for work. He wanted to take the boy and raise him but deep down he knew he couldn't and he was afraid of what might happen on a full moon, so he made the selfless decision he gave Leonidas up even if it wasn't what his heart wished. Maybe one day Leo will know the truth and not hold a grudge against Remus anymore, a grudge that if the truth comes out he doesn't deserve.

The Next Day

Leo's Pov, 

I still can't believe those two fools flew in a car here, than got it half stuck in the Whopping Willow from all things! They are lucky to still be here! Bloody fools even if the gate closed they should have waited for Ron's parents or something now fly that car here! Ron's wand's broken and well now he needs a new one or fix his? But I don't think he'll be able to fix it, so yeah stay away from Ron and him using magic would be the safest bet! Standing next to Hermione on one side and Blaine on the other in Herbology class soon Professor Sprout walks in. "Good morning every one!" 

"Good morning, Professor Sprout welcome to greenhouse three second year gather around, now, everyone today, We are going to repot Mandrakes . Now, who can tell me the properties of the Mandrake root?" She speaks making us step forward before Hermione of course raises her hand, I know the answer but well not like I'm competing for points anyway.

"Yes, Mrs. Granger?"

"Mandrake, or Mandragora It is used to return those who have been petrified to their original state it is also quite dangerous, Mandrake cry's fatal to anyone who hears it," Hermione says and ding ding ding we have a winner. 

Excellent Ten points to Gryffindor now, as our mandrakes are still only seedlings their cry's won't kill you yet but they will knock you out several hours that's why I give each of you a pair of earmuffs for all of your protections, so could you please put them on right away quickly flats tight down watch me closely you grasp your mandrake firmly you pull it sharply out of pot go get it, and now you dump it down to other pot and pour it little sprinkle soil till it can't move." Professor Sprout says as she pulls the young mandrake out that has this horrible cry as many of the others hold their ears while I will I don't wish to say it doesn't botter me but I've helped Professor Sprout before a couple of times. 

Hearing a thud we see Neville of course laying on the ground making me shake my head as I really am trying to hold back my chuckle, it's always Neville! "ah, Longbottom's been neglecting his earmuffs." Professor Sprout says with a shake of her head making Seamus look at the boy next to him. 

"No, Mam, he is just fainted." 

"Ah, as well, let's leave him back right, here we go plenty pots to go around grasp your mandrake and pull it up." She says and I pull the Mandrake out of the put that cries with whell the many others before I put it back in a new pot and put some fresh soil over it making it soon shut up! 

"Here." I say as Hermione's keeps crying before I put some more soil on it. "Just needed a bit more." I say as it finally quit down and many others are still crying in hopes to make us all deaf I think! "Thank you." 

"Cute." Blaine says before it turns into a groan as I stop my foot on his. "Shut up Zucchini before I put you in a pot."

Walking into the new room that appeared in my own house? Tower? Chamber? I don't know I munch away on my toast before I see Severus standing there with his wand in hand. "Uhm hi Severus, grandfather send a note to be here at this time?" I say as I take the last bite of my toast as Dawn lays down on some pillows in the room with Bandit on top of her, those two are even more lazy than Ronald is from time to time! 

"I'll be helping you...... on new spells, on how to defend yourself from any threats." He says and I raise my brow. "Uhm that's lovely but don't I have classes soon?" I say as I point back towards the exit since I indeed have class soon, DADA to be exact with that fraude Lockhart. 

"You would rather spend your time learning from Lockhart?" He asks and I quickly shake my head as I grab my wand. "Alright, we will start with Protego, it can save you from many spell-" 

"Isn't that something for like sixth years? And I'm a second year. You know what i will shut up and let you explain Severus." I say with big innocent smile as I see te look on the mans face as he looks at me unimpressed and with a raised brow. "It is but we think your ready for it, if not I will have fun knocking you on your ass for all the times you broke into my storage room and stole Gillyweed to swim in the Black Lake." He now says with a smirk on his lips as he points his wand at me and I gulp down.
