Part 21

Leo's Pov, 

Laying with my head on the dining table a groan leaves my lips, I've been so.... and I mean so bored. Like I can't leave the house since my face is in the Daily Prophet, and well there's only so much you can do here! At least Kreacher has been even extra nice to me since I gave him a copy of Regulus his locket. 

"I should ask you for forgiveness, the locke-" 

"You didn't know that it was filled with Dark Magic, you don't have to apologize." I mumble as I open one eye to see Sirius walk over to me, seeing him take a seat on his usual chair I puff my cheeks out. "Boring, isn't it?" 

"Very boring, well you have Remus so you can't be that bored. Was is always? You know between you two?" I ask him and he shakes his head. "I think we were both attracted to one another back then, but I really loved your mother she made my eyes just look at her, Merlin I could just be with her all day... just be with her and I would be the happiest man alive. How she walk talk about Magical Creatures she could do it for hours and I would pretend to listen while I just looked about how  her eyes sparkled with every word she said." He says with a faint smile on his lips making soon one form on my lips. 

"But this year, it's I don't know is it foolish?" He asks me and I shrug my shoulders. "Do you think it's foolish? If you wish to be with Remus why should one stop that?" 

"Because I-I'm a wanted man what can I offer him or you for that matter." He says with a shake of his head. "Love? Isn't that sometimes enough if your love is pure and honest that should be enough for now." I say and he releases a chuckle. 

"When did you become so wise." 

"Well I tend to spend my time with a basilisk who's over a 1000 years old.... turns out he's quite wise when he's not nagging me about food." I say before some laughter leaves my lips that he joins me in. Seeing the green fire appear from the fire place soon Severus walks out of it with shock. 

"Black! I knew it." 

"Knew what?" I ask him with a frown and the look on his face well I think we're in for a less boring day! "Potter, he's trying to save you on the place where it is hidden... the dark lord set the trap." He says and whut? 

"We need to go now, Remus!" He yells as he gets ready to run away and I follow after him quickly. "That stupid fool me and Hermione told him to continue his lessons!" I practically yell as I see Tonks, Mad-eye and Remus walk over quickly. 

"You-" 

"Don't start with me Moody because I will shove my foot up your ass! Now can we go and save their asses or are we going to bicker here!" I almost yell making Mad-Eye hold his hand out for me. "I was going to say are you ready, but oke."

"Get away from my Godson." I hear Sirius say before I land next to Mad-eye and clench my jaw by the bloody Death eaters holding my friends making me start to throw spells towards them. Jumping down the rock I see one of them fly around the room as a dark cloud making me pull him and smash him hard onto the floor while spells are flying in 20 million directions at this point! Seeing Tonks leads the others behind some rocks I see Hermione look at me with wide eyes while I send a wink her way before sending one of the Dead Eater's flying. 

Blocking the incoming spell or more like spells I soon wave my wand around before pulling it down making thunder fly around towards the black clouds as the jets try to hit them out of the air at this moment! Making my way over to Hermione who's there with Harry, Daphne, Ron, Luna, Blaise, Neville and Ginny I soon pull my girlfriend into a kiss. 

"Have I ever said I love you?" I ask her and she nods her head as I ignore the spells around me for a couple of seconds. "I love you too." She whispers before kissing me once again. "Stay here." I say before running over to Sirius as I see Lucius do the same I soon point my wand at Draco's father as another one of them appears

 "Black." He says as he pulls his wand out of his cane and soon spells are being thrown from both sides. As I block them all almost with ease as me and Sirius throw our own spells back towards them and they are having some more trouble blocking them all as they move back. 

"Lapis pluvia" I yell as I pull my wand down and soon large stones start to fly down as I block the spell that was coming towards Sirius. "Nice one Son!" 

"Stupefy!" I yell and Dolohov flies away with a loud thud as Sirius sends Lucius flying as I pull one of the large boulders and throw it towards the Death Eater that was making their way over to the others who are hiding behind a rock right now! 

Seeing Bellatrix appear on a stone with her wand pointed at Sirius once the words leave her lips my eyes widen as I run forward as I push the man to the side . "Avada Kedavra." 

Sirius's Pov, 

"Lapis Pluvia!" Leonidas yells as large stones start to fall down on Lucius and Dolohov. "Nice one Son!" I yell before he follows it up with a "Stupefy!" And it sends Dolohov flying as I disarm Lucuis and blast him away from us. 

Seeing him pick up one of the boulders he makes a throwing movement and the large stone flies towards one of the Death Eater's who was trying to make their way over to Harry and the other but now flies against the wall before that... that spell is being heard..... that spell from that voice the voice of my cousin Bellatrix.

"Avada Kedavra!" Feeling myself being pushed to the side soon my eyes widen as I see Leo..... My Leonidas stand there with wide eyes before his body fall to the ground.... he... he took the spell... he took it for me. 

"N-no." 

"No... No come. No!" I scream out as I see Bellatrix make her way out of the room as hands wrap tightly around me "No!" I yell as the tears leave my eyes while I try to fight the people holding me back off as my boy..... my son lies dead before my feet all.... all because of.... because of me. 

"No, let me go! Leo come on!" I yell as he.. he just lays there on the ground before I shove Kingsley and Tonks off of me as I fall down on my knees while the sobs and tears keep leaving my body. 

"My boy, my... my brave boy." I sob out as I pick him up and pull his body against mine while my tears fall down upon him. "P-please wake up.... I-I can't do this.... not without you... please wake up." I whisper as my forehead leans against his but... but it's no use, h-hes dead..... I-I can't feel his body rise and fall as if he were to take a breath..... I-I can't feel a heartbeak..... s-she killed my boy. 

"N-no.. no no." A voice says as I feel someone fall down beside me as soon sobs also leave their lips and I know it's Hermione.........closing my eyes as I hold him closer against me soon her sobs mix together with mine as it's the only thing I can hear right now............ h-how can I go on now? 

H-how can a father move on after they've... they've had to burry their child? A-all these years what kept me going...... was knowing that he was out there and maybe one day would need me and n-now he's dead. He's dead because h-he's the bravest man there ever could have been......... and I-I would have traded my life with his a million times... a-and yet I can't i-it's too late for that. 

"Sirius." Remus says as he tries to pull me back by my shoulder but I push his arm away as I look up and see the whole room filled with people right now. "W-why did it have to be him? W-why couldn't it be me... h-he's gone Remus! My s-son... my boy he's dead!" I yell his way as I still hold Leo's body against my chest and he moves to kneel down beside me with his own tears running down his face. 

"B-because I don't know.... because he was brave. B-because the best always leave us too soon.... and he was the best of all of us."
