The Noble House Black.

Part 11

Leo's Pov, 

Everyone's been bothering me about who I'm taking to the ball, Mother, Grandfather, Ron, Harry, Blaise! But so far I've kept my lips sealed.......... they should mind their own bloody business and not mine! 

Like Ron and Harry well they've been so far taking their time getting a date...... and nagging my ears off about it, like right now while we are at our study hour..... yay. 

"This is mad. At this rate we'll be the only ones in our year without dates." Ron says as he looks around before Severus pushes his head back towards his book making a grin appear on my face by the sight of it. 

"Well, us and Neville." Ron adds with a chuckle that Harry soon joins him in. "But then again he can take himself." 

"It might interest you to know that Neville's already got someone." Hermione says an that's good for Neville in some things he's braver than Harry and Ron...... this being one of them. 

"Now I'm really depressed." Ron says with a gasp before Fred slides a paper over towards him while I roll my eyes..... Ron can be well Ron from time to time. "Who are you guys taking." He whispers towards the twins making Fred throw a ball of parchment at Angelina who sends a glare his way. 

"Angelina you want to go to the ball with me?" Fred whispers as he uses his hands a lot making me snicker at the sight while Hermione next to me rolls her eyes. "To the ball? Yeah alright." She whispers back making Fred wink at Ron who now turns towards Hermione...... ow this is not going to end well. 

"Well Hermione, you're a girl." He starts before the sarcastic voice of Hermione speaks. "Ow well spotted." 

"Why don't yo-" Ron starts before he and Harry are smacked against the head by the book in Severus hands. 

"Come on. It's one thing for a bloke to show up alone. For a girl it's just sad." Ron says and what a bloody and I mean bloody fucking idiot. 

"I won't be going alone because believe it or not someone's asked me." Hermione says in anger as she closes her notebook and get's up before handing it to Severus and walking back our way as she slams her book shut and finishes it with a. "And I said yes." As she now storms out of the hall making me turn towards Ron.

"Bloody hell she's lying right?" 

"Is it so hard to believe someone wants to go with Hermione? You can be a real fucking git when it comes to it Ron." I say with a shake of my head as I get up and hold my notebook out for Severus before walking away from them.

Reading my book I soon hear a knock on my door making me open it with my wand as my eyes are reading the spells and what they do......... they where created by the founders most are related to nature. "Yes mother I know Mother I already got a date for the ball no need to worry, and yes I will ask her what color to wear, and I will be on my best behavior." I list up all the things she's been saying for days now. 

Moving my head back over the couch I see Hermione stand there with a raises brow making me quickly sit up straight as now Bandit half flies away. "Shit, I-I well hi?" I say as I stand there ready for bed in my pajama pants. 

"I can come back another tim-" 

"No, no it's fine........ what made you wander this way anyway?" I ask her as she closes the door behind her and walks over while her fingers move over the books she passes. "Ron asked Fleur or well he screamed it at her." She says with a chuckle and soon I join her in it........ why did I have to miss that? "Ron's a bloody fool." I mumble as I sit down again. 

"Have you figured the egg out yet?" 

"No, I don't know it's weird I feel like throwing it into the bloody lake any moment." I state as she touches the golden egg that sits on the table, I have been trying but well every time I bloody open it makes me wish to cut my ears off. "You have to figuere it our Le-" 

"So what color are you wearing or should I wear? Mother's been nagging about it for days now......... and I don't want us to miss  match you know?" I say as I move on my knees and look over the backrest as she stands behind. 

"I think your last name would suit you very well." Hermione says making me hum as I nod my head. "Leonidas Black in Black I can make that work, so what are you going to be wearing?" I ask her and she looks at me with a mischievous smile. "That's something you will have to see on the day of the Yule Ball............ so you haven't told anyone yet who your taking?" She asks with a raised brow as she steps closer to me. 

"I have not well beside those who helped me know of it, maybe some have figured it out I don't know? Why do you want me to tell people? From earlier I noticed you haven't told anyone either." I say and she now let's her cheeks turn red as her braveness turn into shyness. 

"A-are we going as friends or?" She shyly asks me and now it also fills me.......... does she want it to be more like friends? L-like I wouldn't mind, I think she's awesome and beautiful......... maybe I want to be more than friends with Hermione. 

"I-I uhm if you want....... we can go as more as friends....... I think I would like that more?" I shyly say as I rub the back of my neck making Hermione's eyes snap back up towards mine. "But it's fine if you just want to go as friends." I quickly add but she shakes her head. 

"N-no I uhm think I would also like..... like it to be more." She shyly says making a smile form on my lips as I pat the spot next to me. "Well how about you help me try to find out about that bloody egg before I really throw it into the lake." I say and she nods her head before taking a seat next to me as I grab this book about known eggs to the wizarding world and open it. 

Some Days Later, 

"So wait who are you taking?" Blaise asks me as he wiggles his brows making me roll my eyes. "That's none of your bloody business Zawini now who are you taking?" I counter making him look at me with a grin. 

"Why can you ask me but I can't ask you?" He says as he wiggles his brows making me shove him away from me. "Because I would be sad if you would have to go all alone... you can tell me maybe we can still find your poor lonely ass someone." I tease as he shoves me back before I shove him once again and soon I shove him down in the snow making some laughter leave my lips. 

"Now you've done it." He says as he gets ready to throw some snow but I move to the side making it fly past my head. "To be honest Zawini you should learn how to throw first like that was just bloody aw-" I start before it turns muffled as a fucking hand full of snow hits my face and into my bloody mouth! 

"How does the snow taste? Well I hope it was just snow it was colored yellow a bi-" He starts before it turns into a groand as I tackle him into the snow again and shove his face in it. "Tell me how does it taste Blaise? Hmmm? Must taste bloody good right since you can't seem to get enough?" I tease him as he tries to get me off before a snowball flies against my shoulder making me turn to see Fred and George standing there with grins on their faces. 

"Would you look at that  Fred rolling around in the snow." George says as I get off of Blaise who gets up as he shakes his head to get the snow off while I start to make some snowballs. "You two are so on." 

"Bring it Black." And with that a whole snowball fight breaks lose between me and Blaise against George and Fred as we run around the courtyard and to be honest don't care who we hit in the crossfire as laughter fills the place.
