The Noble House Black.

Part 7

Leo's Pov, 

 "Could I have your attention, please?" I hear the voice of Mother as the feast is full on going while I'm standing outside of the Great Hall just looking at the massive closed wooden door with Dawn by my side and Bandit on my shoulder who somehow keeps hugging my face every 5 minutes or so.... it's been some days and yet I've been avoiding everyone like they have a decease.... I-I just don't know what to tell them? My bed doesn't feel the same......... the Portrait of Salazar is gone I think grandfather removed it and I don't know why? 

"Before we begin the feast, let us have a round of applause for Professor Sprout, Madame Pomfrey, whose Mandrake juice has been so successfully administered to all who had been Petrified. Also, in light of the recent events, as a school treat, all exams have been canceled." The voice of Grandfather says and a sigh leaves my lips. 

"Standing out here won't make it go away." A voice says and I snap my head to the side to see Hagrid standing there making me shake my head. "Hagrid." I breath out as I pull the giant man into a bone crushing hug while I feel his hand on my back. 

"Oi you had us all worried Leo, we thought the worst happened." He says and I nod my head briefly, he's been released out of Azkaban since he's well innocent! It was never him it always have been Tom Riddle. "Now come on." He says as he pushes the large doors open and walks in as I put my brave face on and walk beside him with Dawn trailing behind us. 

"Sorry I'm late. The owl that delivered my release papers got all lost and confused. Some ruddy bird called Errol. And I'd just like to say that if it hadn't been for you, Harry... and Ron... and, Hermione, of course... I would, uh... I'd still be you-know-where, so I'd... I'd just like to say thanks." Hagrid says as we walk between the tables before he reaches Harry, Ron and Hermione who look at Hagrid in surprise while some eyes look upon me in shock. 

"There's no Hogwarts without the both of you, Hagrid and Leo." Harry says while I'm being pulled into a bone crushing hug by Harry before he moves over to Hagrid. Hearing claps I look around with a small frown to see Grandfather, Mother and the rest of the teachers stand up as they clap before that turns into cheering by the many more students who rise up from their seats as Harry also takes a step back and claps with this big stupid smile on his face. 

Releasing a grunt as none other than Blaise pulls me into a bone crushing hug. "You bloody fool stay away from snakes! You left me all alone with them.... them bookworms." He almost yells as he holds me for dear life making a chuckle leave my lips as I hug the boy back. "It's good to see you again Zawini." I say with a smile as Hagrid looks with tears in his eyes are many of the students are giving him hands before I feel a slap against the back of my head. 

"If you ever and I mean ever again get taken by a giant snake don't expect me to try and find a way to save you!" Daphne says with a shake of her head and roll of her eyes making me turn towards her as I wrap my arm around Blaise's shoulders. "I think it shows that your tiny.... very tiny heart cares about dear old me." I say with a grin making her give me the death stare before she slaps my arm. "Don't even start with me Black before I shove you back down those pipes." She says and I pull her into a hug making the girl gasp.

"I missed you too Daphne." I say as we both pull apart while the clapping and cheering of even students standing on the benches fills the Great Hall still making a small smile form on my lips before I'm pulling into the air and placed on Hagrid's shoulder by the man himself! 

"Alright, alright, alright you've all proven you point me and Hagrid are amazing!" I say with some laughter as the worries seem to fade even if it's just for a moment as I look towards Hermione who looks just relieved that everything is done, I'm glad everyone is alright and no dead's have fallen. 

Some Day's Later. 

"Bye! I will write to you!" 

"Be safe Black!" 

"Don't run into anymore snakes!" 

"We will see you after the summer!" 

"I'll write you!"

"See you after the summer!" 

 We all yell towards one another before the train slowly but surely starts to move away towards London as the school year is now officially over. Summer break is here and my friends after I've only seen them for a couple of weeks this school year are leaving again and I will be alone here at Hogwarts well not alone alone but the only child. 

Waving goodbye towards the train as the others take off a sigh leaves my lips, a year is by and yet it still doesn't feel like that.  I wish I could say the worst is all over, but somehow it feels like the beginning of a storm.... a storm that will change everything and once it's here it won't leave easily. But they always speak that after even the strongest and most destructive storm there will be sunlight...... that the sun can not always stay hidden and it can't it will come to light again. 

Feeling something nudge against my hand I let a smile grow on my face as I turn towards the Unicorn and am quick to mount it as I hold it's mane and dig my legs a bit in it's body as it staggers off of the ground before turning around and galloping towards the forest while I soak in all the sunlight that's shining onto my body as some laughter leaves my lips. 

Galloping into the forest soon he jumps over a large log making me hold on tightly to not fly off before I see Fluffy run through the woods making me chuckle. "Hi Fluffy!" I yell towards the three headed dog who's heads snap in my direction as he starts to bark loudly while the Unicorn keeps running full speed through the magical forest. 

Jumping over the small creek as I hold onto the even whiter than snow manes of the unicorn we soon pass some Centaurs including Firenze making me bow my head towards them as they do the same to me while rays of sunlight hit the ground trough the small spaces between the thick sea of leaves. 

Seeing the Basilisk move in the distance I release a chuckle as I look at it's curled up form into a large whole beneath some trees. "Wake up! It's a beautiful day! You've spent almost a 1000 years sleeping!" I yell towards it as the Unicorn runs towards the opening as I see the Basilisk raise it's head as it's eyes remain closed. "Doesn't mean I can not enjoy a nap." 

After some time we gallop out of the tree line and onto a small hill as I hold my arms open with some laughter leaving my lips as I look around at the birds flying over while the Dawn runs out with Bandit on top of her body who holds on for dear life and it only fuels my laughter right now before Fluffy crashes out of the tree line and holds a three in one of his mouth as a stick. 

Seeing Fawkes fly over as the Phoenix looks just so majestic in the air soon the Basilisk also moves out the forest and let's the sunlight warm up his body. Seeing more and more creatures move out of the forest soon Dawn is running around with what may be her siblings while Fluffy is chasing the tree I just threw away with my wand and it feels good to be back in the forest..... to be able to feel the sun on my body, the wind around me and to see things like this... true magical things. 

"I will find my way."
