The Noble House Black.

Part 10.

Leo's Pov, 

The Break is over, snow is turning into grass again. I-I enjoyed the break, like Ron and Harry got me some sweets and quidditch stuff, Hermione got me some fancy pantsy quill. Mother and Grandfather gave me this muggle radio I think it was called? It plays music! It's bloody amazing! 
Hagrid gave me some stuff for the creatures and Remus he gave me a book about Animagus's and how to become one!  Think I know what I'm going to be doing in the summer! 

"A Patronus is a positive force. For the wizard who conjures one.....it works like a shield, with the dementor feeding on it rather than him. But in order for it to work, you need to think of a memory. Not just any memory, a very happy memory, a very powerful memory. Can you do this? Yes. Very well. Close your eyes. Concentrate. Explore your past. Do you have a memory? Allow it to fill you up. Lose yourself within it. Then speak the incantation, Expecto Patronum." Lupin speaks and I close my eyes as I start to think about the day mother gave me the letter that I could come officially to Hogwarts as a student. 

"Expecto Patronum." I softly say as I let the happiness of that day fill my body. "Very good. Shall we? Wand at the ready." He asks and I nod my head as I grab my wand and open my eyes only to see a dementor come out of the chest. 

"Expecto Patronum!" I cast but not even a wisp comes out of my wand as the happiness leaves my body as it get's colder and colder right now around me. "Ecpe...... Expe-" I start before I take a shake step back and drop my wand to the ground and my eyes close. 

"Expecto Patronum," Lupin casts and when I open my eyes again I see the dementor gone and back into his chest. "It's not even a dementor and it doesn't even work." I mumble with a shake of my head as I sit down on the steps. 

"It's all right. l didn't expect you to do it the first time. That would have been remarkable. Here, eat this. You'll feel better." He says as he hands me a piece of chocolate that I start to eat from it helps to counter the depressing affects from the Dementor or well in this case a boggart, wouldn't think the man got a real one into the school. "As a matter of interest, what were you thinking? Which memory did you choose?" 

"The day mother gave me my letter for Hogwarts." I say and he is quick to speak again. "That's not good enough. Not nearly good enough." He says with a shake of his head and I start to think again, I have happy memories but it's not just one it's like a bunch of them? 

"There are others." 

"Put them together and let them fill your body." Remus says and I nod my head as I get up again, grabbing my wand I move in front of the chest and close my eyes as I start to think about just running around the Forbidden Forest, meeting the creatures and spending my time with them, meeting Harry, Ron, Blaise, Daphne and Hermione and the time I've had so far with them...... my time with my family and the lullaby. It fills my body like a nice warm hug as a smile forms onto my face.

"I'm ready." I say and I hear the chest open again, snapping my eyes open I look towards the Dementor as it tries to take the happiness away again but this time I won't let him and soon cast. "Expecto Patronum!" I say and a yet of bright blue light comes out of my wand as is forms some kind of shield and starts to push the boggart back towards the chest. 

As it's pushed back into the chest soon Remus closes it as I have a big smile on my lips. "Yes! Well done, Leonidas. Well done!" He says proudly as he gives my shoulder a squeeze. 

"That was something else." I say with a heavy breath making the man hold out another piece of chocolate. "Eat this, it helps. lt really helps. And just so you know, Leo......l think you'd have given your parents a run for their money. And that is saying something." He says as I take the piece. 

 "So since you have about 13 years to make up if I ask you for some help with becoming a Animagus you would say?" I say to them man who turns in my direction with some surprise. "I would say no." 

"Oke but just hear me out, since you're a werewolf your goal when you turn is to harm people and sure Severus has been making you the potion but like I want to see one! And as a Animagus I can safely since you won't hurt me right?" I say and he seems to be lost in a memory or something as a big smile form on his face. "Like come on it could work, put a leave in ya mouth for a month, then spit it into this thingy to be honest I don't need your help I could do it myself I've done some reading about it." I say with a simple shrug. 

"Your not allowed since your underaged, the minestry has strickt rules about becoming a Animagus." Remus suddenly says as he shakes his head out of the memory. "Oke look that may be, but who says they have to know.... now I will see you next week and just think about it all you have to do is steal some mandrake leaves or I can do it myself." I say as I get up and hold my hands open as I try to sell it to him. 

"Maybe in a couple of years, now go I will see you next week." He says with a shake of his head as he gets up. "Come on Remus here I thought you where going to be the cool uncle!" 

Some Day's Later, 

"How did it go, Hagrid? The hearing?" Hermione asks as I stand knee deep into the black lake while Hagrid is wearing? A suit made out of some kind of brown fur? He had the hearing and well I don't think it worked that well Hermione has been even raiding my library to find anything to help Hagrid. Ron's blaming her or well Croockshanks for eating his rat, I never liked that Rat......... and well he needs to take better care of his pets. 

"Well, first off, the committee members took turns......talking about why we were there. I got up and did my piece. Said how Buckbeak...and Athena...was a good hippogriff, always cleaned their feathers. And then Lucius Malfoy got up. Well, you can imagine. He said Buckbeak and Athena where  deadly and dangerous creatures.....who would kill you as soon as look at you." Hagrid speaks and I turn to look at him with wide eyes. No.... they can't do it! 

"And then?" 

"And then he asked for the worst, Did old Lucius." Hagrid says as he throws another rock over the water. "They're not sacking you!" Ron says in disbelief and Hagrid is quick to follow up with some sobbing. "No, l'm not sacked. Buckbeak's been sentenced to death!" 

"N-no they can't do that right it's Malfoy's own bloody fault!" I say with anger as I look between Hagrid and Hermione. "W-what about Athena?" Harry asks and I look at Hagrid who wipes his tears away or tries to wipe them away. 

"T-they couldn't make a case against her, since she didn't attack Malfoy." He says with a sniffle and I release a deep breath, I will save Buckbeak even if it's the last thing I do.... if I take him now they will blame Hagrid and who knows what will happen than.... no I have to think about this somehow we have to make sure a creature doesn't die for a git like 

Feeling something pull me down a groan escapes my lips as Hermione screams in fear before I release a chuckle as I see the head of the Giant Squid emerge from the water making me wave at her as I hang upside down. 

"It's just the Squid Hermione! So tell me any kelpies arrived yet?" I ask the Squid who shakes her head and it makes a groan leave my lips. "Oi a Kelpy! Have you lost your mind!" Ron yells and I shrug my shoulders. "You can ride them  but wanna see something cool! Oke on three!" I say to the Giant Squid. 

"Don't do it Leonidas last time you also got in trouble!" Hagrid says but it falls to deaf ears. "One!" 

"Two!" 

"Three!" I yell and soon I'm flying over the Black Lake as the Giant Squid throws me away as hard as she can while a excited scream leaves my lips, and I hear Harry, Hermione yell in fear!

"This is amazing!"
