The Noble House Black.

Part 17

Leo's Pov, 

"A bloody fucking maze." I mumble after we've been told what the last task is and I shake my head..... our bloody quidditch field! GONE TO RUINS! It's a good thing Wood graduated last year because I think he would have been sobbing by the sight of it. 

The last task is coming closer and closer I don't know what to do well you find your way through the bloody maze that's pretty easy but there won't just be the maze...... there'll be things in the maze....... things that wish to stop us. 

Harry told me about the memory he saw in the pensivle, grandfather is worried and so is mother. Ron and Hermione have been helping Harry on top of worrying about their exams that will end on the day of the third task.

"Are you nervous?" Hermione asks me as it's the night before the task and we sit on the couch together in my common room? Living Room? I don't even bloody know. "To run through a maze? Not really? For what lays in the maze? Not truly but I don't know I got a bad feeling about this Hermione." I breathe out as I run my hand through my black curls and close the book while Dawn and Bandit lay on the large dog bed half passed out. 

"You're a strong wizard Leo, I've seen you duel with Professor Dumbledor-" She starts reassuringly before I shake my head as I cut her off. "It's not that Hermione even the strongest can be bested..................... I don't know I just have a weird feeling about all of this." I say as I lean my head back against the rest and look at the ceiling. 

 "Have you heard from Snuffels?" 

"Snuffels? Yes, keep to your room in your free time, be ready for everything.... blablablabla." I mumble before I feel a weight sit down on my lap making me sit up only to see Hermione be the one on my lap right now. "He worries about you Leo..... he may have not been there for you for a long time but he never forgot that your his son and he will do everything to keep you and Harry save." She says as she wraps her arms around my neck and starts to play with my hair.  

"I know but what can he do?" 

"That's something that's been going through his head probably more times than yours." She says and I release a breathless chuckle. "Did I ever say your the smartest witch I've ever met." I softly say as she leans down and ghost her lips over mine.

"I don't know but I don't mind you saying it." She says and with that her lips meet mine while I feel my nerves...... go away even if it's just for now.

For in this river all is found" I sing as I walk into the cave and lean against the wall with a grin on my lips as I see Sirius asleep against Buckbeak who raises his head at me. 

"In her waters, deep and true

Lie the answers and a path for you
Dive down deep into her sound
But not too far or you'll be drowned" I continue before I see the man shoot up with wide eyes, seeing him look around the cave soon his eyes fall on me as I drop the bag with food in front of him. 

"You know for someone on the run you really are a deep sleeper." I say with a shake of my head. "W-what are you doing here! I told you to stay in the castle it's not save out here!" He says as I grab my wand and light the place up with a small fire as more and more newspapers lay around. 

"And to be honest you should have known that I would not listen and have a tendency to break rules." I say as I take a seat and he pulls the bag towards him. "How did you even get out of the castle with Crouch dead I would have though Dumbledore had you on lockdown." He says as he grabs some bread out and begins to eat.
