The Noble House Black.

Part 18

Leo's Pov, 

Seeing the large mansion come into view I gulp down as i stand here in my dress clothes, why did I agree with this..... well I didn't and yet here I am! My Animagus proces has been going bloody amazing! Like i do the incantation everyday at sunrise and sundown and I've been waiting for the thunderstorm for like 3 weeks now! 

Maybe I should have Sirius come back to Hogwarts because somehow they didn't stop when he was around and now that I need one there is no cloud on the bloody sky! But he's putting a lot of distance between him and the school, but he did send me this cool black ring with a lion. He said because of my patronus that well takes the form on a lion. Remus he's been well trying to find work but it's not easy out there but for my birthday he sent me a black Lion figure made out of stone it's cool. 

"Well don't you clean up nicely." The voice of Daphne says and I'm pulled out of my thoughts as I stand in this large room with fancy music being played and a bunch of people in suits and dresses as they talk amongst one another. Turning towards Daphne she's wearing this green dress that fits her perfectly before I take her hand as I bow over and place a kiss on top of it. 

"You look Beautiful, Greenwater." I say with a smirk as I stand up again and she loops her arm around mine as I see Draco looking at me with his goons. "No need to be charming Black." She says as she walks us over to a man and woman who are I think her parents who turn towards us and look me up and down with judgement...... just pure judgment. 

"Mom, Dad, This is my friend Leon-" 

"Leonidas Black, we know all about you." The man says as I keep my head high. "The last of the Noble House Black well if we count out your father who's on the run." He adds and I now clench my jaw to not blast the man far away from me. "I've heard you've been running around with.... with those muggleborns and blood traitors." Her mother says and I-I I'm truly surrounded by a bunch of Malfoys! 

"I think what matters about friendship is not the status of their blood but if they would stand not in front of me... not behind me but beside me in the eyes of danger, if they would be willing to risk their life for me like I would for them. About how many of your friends can you say that? Now if you excuse me I have a ball to attend with your daughter." I say before leading Daphne away from her parents. 

"Bloody hell I feel sorry for you." I mumble as we see some people dancing and we make our way onto the dancefloor. "I thought you couldn't dance." Daphne teases and I release a chuckle at her words. 

"After you came with the offer mother has been spending every day 2 hours teaching me how to dance." I say as I take her hand and my other hand lays on her hips before we start to do the waltz? I don't know I was paying attention to learning the dance not the name to be honest. 

Dumbledore's Pov, 

"Something dark is coming Albus...... the stars are changing." The portrait  of Godric says and I nod my head. Darkness is coming Firenze told me the same, more and more centaurs keep arriving in the Forbidden Forest and for beings that normally don't wear armor the last one who tried to give it to them well let's say it did not end wel they've been forging armor and swords..... they are getting ready for war. 

"We need to push him harder the upcoming year, he needs to be ready." 

"Harder? Give the boy a break he's been gone through so much and yet almost everyday he's practicing spells." Helga says in disbelief at Rowena's words. "He's strong but he needs to be stronger, it's coming we know it.... the wind knows it, the stars know it. If not there will no mercy for the world." Rowena counters making me look towards the training room, he's been training even now in his vacation.... he's growing up so much he's turning into such a handsome young man, a strong one at that he was able to call upon a Corporeal Patronus... A Lion at it.
