Guilty As Sin? (Nathan Prescott x reader)

Friday comes by slower than ever. I had science which I never really cared for and art which I loved but the day went by quickly. And before I knew it I was on my way to the mill.

Or had been a long time since I'd came here and walking through the woods was a lot scarier when you're not fucked up. But I made it there safely, the bouncer didn't give me any issues as he knew frank and I believe Frank told him i was coming.

When I step in the loud music hits my ears and it takes me back to when this is what every night looked for me. I look around and I spot Nathan. Sticking out like a sore thumb. I come up behind him and say "hey you made it" he turns around and smiles, "yup".

We sit at the make shift bar and talk until the show starts. "I'll take 2 beers" Nathan says and the not so professional bar tender gives us them Nathan takes a sip and I just look at mine. "What's wrong?" He asks

"I don't drink anymore" I tell him "shit I forgot I'm sorry" he apologizes "it's okay"  he looks at me for a second like he had a question and is contemplating if he's allowed to ask. "Yknow... I always thought you were the coolest person at our school" he tells me and I try and hide my blush. "Why thank you" I say humbly

"I wish we became friends a lot sooner" I say
"Who says we're friends?" He asks and I look at him awkwardly but see him smile and I smile too.

I hear the music begin. I stand up and grab Nathan's hand and drag him into the crowd of people. When we get into a good spot that's not too close but not too far from stage we're still holding hands. We look at each other and then separate our hands. As the music pics up I start to dance. Nathan just stands there but after a few moments I grabbed his arms and flared them around forcing him to dance.

The end of the last song plays and Me and Nathan look at each other. He looks at my lips and for a moment I think he's gonna kiss me. Escpessially when he starts to lean it. Until he gets pushed by some drunk guy.

"The fuck is wrong with you?" The drunk man says
"You bumped into me asshole!" Nathan's yells back
"You fucking liar!" The drunk guy gets louder. I start to see more people come into view and I realize things are about to escalate. "We need to go" I say to Nathan and grab his hand and we run out of the mill and start running into the woods. For a second they were following us and shouting at us. Once we were deep into the woods we both stop with our hands on our knees while we pant trying to catch our breath.

"Jesus Christ" Nathan says breathlessly  "What was their problem?"

"Just a bunch of dickheads" I tell him

"I don't really go to these kinds of parties often" Nathan admits

"Yeah i figured, I'm sorry" I apologize

"What for?" He asks

"Sorry that you didn't have fun" i clarified

"I didn't say that, I had lots of fun actually" he tells me and we both smile, "but we are lost" he says

"Nope, don't worry i know where to go, I use to walk through here to get to parties all the time" I tell him and we begin our walk

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure"

"Why did you decide to sober up?" Nathan asks me

"Funny you ask that here actually. I was walking through these very woods tweaking out when I realized someone had been following me. They kept getting closer and closer but luckily justin called me and I think that's what ultimately saved me because eventually the guy turned around. I don't think he knew I saw him. Anyway the whole thing scared the shit out of me and that's when I decided that being high was too dangerous and yeah..." I explain

"Jesus" he replies

"Do you wanna do anything else? Or are u tired?" I ask him

"Well I was wondering if you'd want to watch a movie in my dorm?" Nathan asks

I smile, "sounds good"
