Y/n's pov:
After the show me and Nathan walk out together. "Wait- my dad's here... and...my sister... and my mom too?" Nathan's says confused. "Go say I hi to them, I'm gonna go I find my parents then we can meet up back here with them." I tell Nathan and we go out separate ways.
"Dad!" I say cheerfully and hug him when I see him. "Hey sweetie, I've missed you!" He says me and he hugs me back. "Where mom? Is she in the bathroom or something?" I ask when I notice his face change. "Uh- no honey she... couldn't make it"
"What? She couldn't make it...or she wouldn't?" I ask. "You know how she is about this stuff- she...I don't know, I didn't wanna tell you and ruin your perfect night. Plus she told me last minute. I'm sorry" he apologizes
"It's okay dad... there's people I want you to meet..."I tell him as I drag him to where me and Nathan had agreed to meet up. "Is this another imaginary friend?" Dad laughs and so do I. "No no no I promise this one's real, he will be over in a few."
"You must be y/n!" I hear a female voice say and when I turn around I see the Prescott family in all their glory. "That would be me!" I say cheerful, "it's so nice to finally meet you!" I shake Kristine's , Nathan's sister, hand aswell as Mr and Mrs. Prescott. I could feel Mr. Prescott's annoyance as it filled the air. "Dad this is, nathan, my boyfriend that I've mentioned earlier and his family !" I tell my dad and my dad shakes all their hands aswell.
"I'm Mr. Prescott, this is my wife, and daughter Kristine" Mr Prescott says as he shakes me fathers hand. He talks in the monotone voice I've heard Nathan complain about.
"It's nice to meet you folk! I've heard a lot about Nathan and I'm happy that my daughter found such a lovely young man" my dad compliments and I see Nathan get nervous. Mr Prescott hums in response but Kritsten says, "I could say the same to you! Nathan's told me lots about you, y/n. I can tell you make him happy." I feel a smile creeping up on my face as I thank her for her kind words.
After we talked for a bit Nathan and his family were going to head back to their house and have a dinner, and me and my dad would be having dinner at two whales. Where I decide to tell him everything.
