Y/n's pov
When I woke up I blinked a couple times and looked around with my eyes. The sun hadn't even come up yet and I was up somehow. Weird I thought. Nathan was sleeping on me which is ironic because I fell asleep on him. I looked at him, analyzing him. I watch as his chest rose and fell with every breath he takes. How innocent and sweet he looks. How no one ever gets to see this Nathan. To be completely honest so many hate him, and truthfully I can understand why. Especially because Nathan acts like he doesn't care but deep down he does. I know that if things were different people would like Nathan for him and not because they are scared.

With our moving too much I grab my phone careful not to wake Nathan.

Dad: mom and I are in our way sweetie!
Me: can't wait to see you!!

Chloe: look at what I found

The imagine was Chloe, Rachel, and I. I smiled.

Me: that day was awesome

I was surprised Chloe was okay with sharing that with me. She isn't one to talk about Rachel with out getting emotion understandably.

Drew: dad, Mickey, and I can't wait to see your work !
Me: thanks I can't wait to see you guys

Warren: can we meet up on Thursday to discuss the project? Really need to decide on an idea. If that's ok?

Me: yeah of course !

Most of the texts I received were from last night while I was sleeping. I checked the time that it was now and, "shit 4:50?" I say out loud quietly. Jesus, what prompted me to wake up so early.

I tried to fall back asleep but I could tell it wasn't going to happen. So I slowly and ever so carefully slid out from under Nathan and got out of bed. He was typically a light sleeper and has a lot of trouble sleeping so I hopefully didn't wake up him or disturb him.

I looked around the room for my bag and walked over to it. I grabbed my sketchbook and laptop and quietly sat down on Nathan's sofa. I spend the next hour and a half working on school as well as checking over everything for the play. Mr. Keaton had us vote on who should do pre-show announcements a couple weeks ago and I was voted for the most so I was also working on my speech. It's funny to think about how a couple years ago everyone at this school hated me and viewed me as some drugged up teenager and now I was friends with practically everybody.

Some more time had passed when I heard Nathan moving on the bed and I looked up to see him. He propped himself up with one of his arms and rubbed his eyes with the other. He blinks a couple times before he looks at me. "Sorry, I hope I didn't wake you." I apologize. "N-no don't worry you didn't. What are doing up so early?" He asks as he checks the time. Now it was around 7.

"I'm not sure I just woke up early naturally I guess." I tell him truthfully. "Hm, what are you working on?" He asks. "Quite a few things I'm a bit all over the place, but right this second I'm just fixing up my speech" I tell him. He nods in response.
My phone started buzzing and I go to look at it and saw that max was calling. I answer and say, "hey max what's up?". "Hey y/n! Chloe and I wanted to let you know we would be coming to the show if you wanted to uh hang out or anything? Hopefully Chloe doesn't get us kicked out." She laughs and I do to. "I was planning on going out to dinner with my family, Nathan, and a couple other friends if you guys wanted to tag along?" I ask. "I'll talk to Chloe and let you know!" She says cheerfully in response. "Alright we'll meet up with us after the show." I tell her. "Will do bye bye" we both say our goodbyes and she hangs up.

"I can't believe your friends with those wanna be hipsters." Nathan rolls his eyes. I never understood his problem with them. To be honest I think Chloe and him would get along. "Well it takes one to know one" I reply back. "Well you don't carry around a camera from a million years ago." He rebutted. I groan, "Nathan you of all people should understand. Polaroids are her style, it's what makes her work so u unique. The same way your dark and mysterious style makes your work unique too." I tell him, not in a rude tone but in a 'I'm sticking up for my friend and yknow im right' tone. "Maybe" he replied and it's quiet for a moment.  "Wanna go to the diner?" He asks. "Sure" I reply. I gather my things and he gets dressed then we head to the diner.

After breakfast with Nathan I headed back to my dorm. There were a couple things I needed to do before the show and luckily I had plenty of time. The first thing I did was take a shower. Then walked back to my room to get dressed, do my make up, do my hair. All the things needed to look presentable tonight. After what felt like forever of  getting ready I checked on a few things for the play on my computer and then gathered all my things to head out. As both a prop and stage manager I need to go earlier to set up the stage and make sure everything is perfect.

I leave my room and enter the chaotic hallway. Quite a few people were in the play on my floor so I could tell they were stressed just from listening to the loudness from the hall. I stopped by Victoria's room, her door was open and she was at her desk doing her make up. "Hey Victoria." I say as I walk in. "Hello" she says plainly. "Just wanted to say good luck today, our last performance." I tell her. She stops what she's doing and turns around to face me. "Listen just because you and Nathan are together doesn't mean we have to get along. We both know you don't mean that so how about you go bother someone else" she says with her typically bratty tone. I roll my eyes and scoff, "fine Victoria, break a leg, in the most literal way possible!" I say and walk out slamming her door shut.

What a bitch, I thought to myself. My next stop was Dana's room. Her door was opened all the way and so I just walked in. She was dancing, which was a common sight to see from her. "Hey y/n!" She says cheerfully. "Sup Dana, I just stopped by to say good luck tonight." I tell her with a smile. She stops dancing and walks over to me and hugs me, "thanks y/n it really means a lot. Someone from Juliard is coming to watch to scout. I'm so nervous!" she says. "I can't even tell your nervous, you got this don't even worry." I assure her. "Thanks y/n it means a lot, and good luck to you too." She says.
