Authors note: anyone notice that the way Nathan texts in the games is so bad. Like is he illiterate or just trying to be cool he sucks at spelling.

Y/n's pov:

The sleepover at Dana's was super fun we gossiped, danced, had a fashion show, and watched a bunch of romcoms. When I woke up Dana was still asleep, I did her a favor and cleaned up the mess we had made the night prior. I left her a note saying I went back to my dorm , which I did after I grabbed my things.

When I got to my room I checked my texts.

Nathan: I've got bad news

The text was from late last night so I was kind of worried.

Me: bad news???

He took a few minutes to reply but he eventually did.

Nathan: my mom and sister want to take you prom dress shopping

Me: that's bad news?

Nathan: yknow how my family is

Me: true but maybe it could be nice. I think your sister likes me at least

Nathan: she does dw

It was Sunday so i unfortunately had to actually do stuff. Mainly just shower and get my stuff ready for the week. I also needed to get boxes to start packing up my room, which the thought of doing made me sad.

After my shower I brushed my teeth and got dressed. I decided I didn't have the time or patients  for dealing with  make up or hair today. I got back to my room and needed to make a few calls. The first one was for Nathan. The phone rang for a few moments before he answers and said, "hey what's up?". "Nothin much what about you?" I ask. "Just buying new lenses for my camera so I can get the perfect shot for my final." Nathan tells me and I smile. "Any ideas on what you'll be doing for your photography final?" I ask. "Portfolio, of both my old work and some new shots." He explains. "Ah, well you better show me and I was wondering if you knew where I could get some boxes to start packing up my room?" I ask.

"You're doing that already?" He asks. "Well yeah! Im going home for a couple weeks after graduation day and my mom will not be happy if she has to wait up on me." I explain. "Shit I forgot you were leaving...well uhm I'll pick you up some boxes I should get me some anyway." He offers. "Thank you so much! Do you wanna get dinner tonight?" I ask. "Sure, I'll let you know when I'm back."

My next call was for Drew. Again the phone rang for a few moments until I heard his voice. "Hey y/n! Good to hear from you what's up?" "Hey Drew, nothing much but I did want to let you know that...I've decided to apply to Oregon State!!!" I announce to him and he cheers. "Woah y/n!!  Do you know what your major will be?" He asks. "Yeah, psychologically. I've decided I want to be a psychiatrist for those who struggle with addiction! Don't have any application recommendations?" I ask. "Your grades are great, you have extracurriculars, I'd say just get some good letters of recommendation. Which should be easy for you." He suggests. "Thank you Drew, I'll keep you posted!" I say and we say our goodbyes.

Nathan and i decided to go to a local pizza plays for dinner. We were in a booth at said pizza place eating. "Nathan there are some things that I think we need to discuss." I say. He looks up at me with a concerned look and says, "okay.." "we are getting closer and closer to graduation, we need to discuss our future. Personally...I'd like to stay together, how about you?" I ask. "Of- of course I want to stay together. A future with out you, isn't a future I want to be apart of." He tells me and I smile. "I'm glad you say that. I've decided, literally yesterday, that I will be applying to Oregon State. Over the summer I'll be with my family back home for a while but if I get accepted I was thinking that maybe we could get an...apartment together, instead of dorms." I suggest. "Sorry- Dana and I had a sleepover last night and we talked about the future so that's why I'm spilling all this out now." I explain.

"I...would actually really like that. What are you wanting to major in?" He asks. "Psychology, to be a psychiatrist for those with addiction. Warren and i's final project in chem as well as Steph inspired it." I inform him.  "Oh... okay. That's good, that's cool, I'm glad." He fidgeted. The topic of addiction was probably a sensitive one as he struggled for a long time but he doesn't really use as much as he has before.

I put my hand over his and say, "Nathan, we're gonna be okay."
