Note: I'd like to say that I know in before the storm Drew's family struggles financially but in this story his dads gets a good job and now they are a lot better off than they were kk thanks also I'm now on summer break so more chapters to come.

Y/n's pov

We pull into a drive well that I know all too well and a smile instantly hits my face. All the memories of the past pop up and I couldn't be happier. Drew parks his vehicle and we both get out of the car. Drew walks infront of me and he goes inside the house and says, "I brought something" out loud to his dad and brother and I appear behind him.

"Hey gu-" before I could finish Mickey runs over and hugs me. "Y/n it's been too long!" He says and pulls away. We all walk to the living room and sit around. "It's good to see you again y/n, how've you been?" Anthony, Drew's dad, asks. "Pretty good, one more semester of high school and then I'm free." I tell them excitedly. "Are u going to pursue art?" Mickey asked. Mickey and I both liked art and we always bonded because of it. Sometimes we'd make characters together and it was always fun.

"I'm actually not sure yet" I tell them. "You haven't applied anywhere?" Drew asks. "No- uh not yet" i reply.

After that we all catch up and it was so great to be back here. Then later on we ate dinner and all watched a movie. It was nice feeling like a part of their family. Part of me compared this dinner to the one at Nathan's. I felt sorry that Nathan did have this, hell I felt bad that I didn't have this.

It got late and Drew and I were in the guest room and he was setting things up I guess. "Yknow I could help you with collage applications if you want?" He offers. "That'll be nice I appreciate that. I don't know I just don't know if I should go to college in my home town or here." I confess.

"I understand that- uh sorta. Well you have all your friends and boyfriend here but your family is back home. I guess if you went here it would be relatively the same as going to Blackwell." He tells me. "Are u trying to get me to stay closer" I laugh. "Maybe, anyway just let me know I'll help you any time . I'm gonna head to bed need anything else?" He offers.

"Nope I'm good goodnight Drew" "good night y/n" he then leaves the room and shutting the door. I get ready for bed and then lay down and drift to sleep.

I woke up to laughing in the kitchen. It wasn't too loud and even if it wasn't happening I still would've woke up. I get up make the bed the way it was before and gather my things. I step out of the room and go to the kitchen where I see Anthony and Mickey making breakfast.

"Hope you're hungry y/n I'm making my famous pancakes!" Anthony says. "I cant wait! I've missed having breakfast here." I tell him and he smiles. "Y/n is it true ur dating that Prescott?" Mickey asked and I almost choke. "Uh- yeah how did u-"

"Drew told me, he gives u any problems u let us know!" Mickey says and I hear Anthony laugh. "Will do".
"Y/n your always welcome to come hang out with us whether Drew's here or not" Anthony says and I smile and reply "thank you I might hold u to it".

When breakfast it done Drew finally enters the kitchen. We all eat breakfast and talk about everything and anything. When breakfast is over I say my goodbyes and Drew drives me back to Blackwell.

I hug him goodbye and tell him don't be a stranger and I hope he remembers that cause I mean it. Last night was the most fun I've had in forever. I walk back to the girls dorms and walk inside. Dana's door is opened and she's jamming out like usual. I walk inside to say hi to her. "Y/n where were u yesterday? U didn't come home!" She says while dancing. "I stayed with Drew and his family last night." I tell her. "Oh- okay well how was it?" "Great actually! What did u do?" "Hung out with Trevor but then Justin kind of- interrupted us" she laughs as do I.

We talk for a few moments more than I head back to my dorm.

Nathan's pov

I was laying by a pool when my phone rings. I look at it hoping for it to be y/n but it was just some random number so I ignore it. My dad was inside probably doing business. Mom was taking a sculpting class for some reason and my sister was back in Brazil.

It would be a lot better if y/n were here but after what happened the last time she met my family I'm not sure she will ever wanna meet them again. Despite being at a beautiful beach house I was miserable. All alone pretty much and nothing here for my photography style.

My thoughts were interrupted by yet another phone call from the same number so I decided to pick it up this time.

"I could sue you for harassment what do u want!" I shout into the phone. "Nathan relax it's Dana." She says through the phone. "What do you want?" I reply annoyed. "Where have you been?" She asks. What the fuck does this girl want. "Vacation. Now what the hell do you want?" I say in a somewhat blunt tone. "Yesterday y/n stayed at the North house and I just wanted to make sure you guys are still good. Considering Drew yknow..." she tells me and I clench my fists.

"He what?" I ask. "He's in love with her! I mean he brings her flowers every time they hang out and he has ever since they became friends. Y/n is oblivious to the fact he likes her so don't be mad at her, I just- I don't want things with you and her to get fucked up." She tells me. Instead of hanging up, like I usually would I decided to take a breath and respond to her in a calm collected manner even tho right now I wasn't anywhere near calm or collected.

"Thanks for-...uh letting me now I gotta go" I say then hang up. I'm frustrated of course and for multiple reasons. Y/n didn't tell me she was hanging out with that punk and why the hell was Drew hanging out with her anyway. I know they're friends but it's different when one of them is in love with the other.

I decided to call y/n. Not to ask her about it but to instead see what she's up to and see if she would tell me about it. The phone rings and then finally I hear her voice.

"Hey Nate what's up?" She says cheerfully. "Hey uhhh nothing much just laying by the pool I guess what about you?" I ask casually. "That sounds fun and a lot better than it is here. I just got off the phone with Steph but besides that yesterday I hung out with Drew and then I went to his families house and caught up with them and even had a sleepover just like old times. I wish you too got a long I think you too would've been good friends." She tells me and a sigh of relief that she didn't lie.

"I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that, but I'm glad you had fun. What all did you guys do?" I ask her.

"Well Drew and I went to Two whales to catch up because it's been forever. Then we went to his house and I hung out with him, his dad, and his brother. We all ate dinner watched a movie. Then I went to sleep and we ate breakfast all together. Now I'm home! Tell me about what you've been doing!" She tells me and I can tell she had a great time which upsets me but also makes me happy.

"Oh uh nothing much really, parents have been busy so I just do whatever. A lot nicer if you or Kristen were here." I tell her.

"Yeah? Well I'll make it up to you when you come back."
