Y/n's pov:

Well the week went by quickly. Everyone was excited, classes went by quickly, and in the last day when the final bell rang cheers were heard through the halls. However right now I was staring in the mirror looking at myself in my graduation gown and cap, my entire room packed away in boxes that were already on the way back home.

I was filled with emotions, happiness, sadness, and of course nostalgia. It was almost time for all the students to head to the football field to get ready for the ceremony so I left my dorm. I knocked on Dana's door because we decided to walk there with each other and get Nathan and Zach on the way. When she opened the door she was teary eyes and I immediately hugged her. "I'm so glad I made a friend as good as you." I say during our hug. "I'm already crying, no need to make me cry anymore, but i feel the same way too." She says and we pull away and walk in our gowns to the boys down. We waited by the door for them and eventually they came out.

We all began to walk. "I can't believe we are done and about to get our diploma." Dana says. "I know, it feels like freshman was just last year." I say. "I'm ready for the next chapter." Nathan says. "I'm surprised I'm even graduating." Zach says. "I feel bad for Justin .." I say. Justin didn't get to graduate because of his grades. "He says he's done with school either way, I think he'll be happier out of school." Zach says. "Well I hope so." I say.

"At least  the four of us are all going to the same college together" Dana says. "Yeah, I couldn't imagine not being around you guys." I say. "Are you guys staying in a dorm?" Nathan asks them. Surprisingly he actually liked Dana and Zach which I was glad for. "We're just gonna get an apartment together." Zach says. "Omg we're doing the same thing! When are you guys moving?" I ask. "Zach and I are gonna stay at my parents and then sometime in August move, what about you guys?" Dana asks.

"I'm heading back home for a bit and then coming back." I explain. "My dads already got an apartment paid for and I'll be staying their while I intern for him, and then y/n will move in when she gets back." Nathan explains as well. "I can't believe we're practically all grown up." Dana says finally as we arrive at the football field.

We all hug each other and Dana takes a picture. Then we all go our separate ways to our assigned seat. Luckily for me and Nathan since our lockers are beside each other we sit beside each other.

After a few minutes of waiting principal Wells goes to the podium and speaks in the microphone to everyone. "Hello everyone and welcome to the class of 2015 graduation" he continues, "before we hand out diplomas and awards, the selected teacher to give a speech was Miss Grant." Then Miss Grant walks up to podium and begins her speech. "Hello everyone, parents, family members, and even friends of the graduating class you should be very proud. I've watched all these young adults grow to the amazing incredible people that they are now. Everyone here is so smart and I'm so happy to have been able to teach them. Thank you." Then she walks off and Wells comes back.

He begins with awards and then finally diplomas. I hear a few names and then, "Warren graham" I clap and cheer of course. Then "Dana Ward" and I think I might've hurt my vocal cords by how loud I cheered for her. "Max Caulfield.....Juliet Watson." He says a few more names in between and I clap and cheer for everyone . Then finally it's Nathan and Is row to get up.

"Kate Marsh.....Victoria Chase.....Nathan Prescott." I smile as I watch Nathan walk across the stage and I swear I felt a tear fall down my face. "Y/n y/l/n" I walk on the stage. Shake the teachers hands, take my diploma,  pose for a picture and walk off the stage. After a few more names the ceremony was over and honestly everyone was crying. It was an amazing group of kids I graduated with to be honest.

Afterwards I met up with Nathan and his parents as well as the people that came for me: my dad, skip, frank, Drew and his family, and even Andy. "Wait...where's mom?" I ask my dad. He sighs, "she uhm... she got sick and couldn't-" he began. "She seriously didn't come? Are you kidding me?" I tear up. My own mother didn't even want to come to my graduation and was forcing my father to lie for her.

Nathan hugs me, "it's okay." He assures. I'm glad Kristen, Nathan's sister was here. I got away from our parents to talk to the others that came for me. "Thank you so much for coming Frank, I know it's a little...difficult." I say as I gave him a hug. "I wouldn't miss, I am gonna head out. Make sure you visit before you leave." He says and I nod. "I'm so glad you guys came." I say to the North's as I hug them all. "You're apart of our family y/n" Mr. North says. "I hope since your gonna be going to the same college as Drew we can hang out a lot more!" Mickey says. "Absolutely" I say. "We better head out, congratulations y/n" Drew says and they leave.

"Skip, i hope you didn't have to miss anything to come. Yknow since your like practically a rockstar." I state as I give him a hug. "Oh please, you know I'd cancel anything for something as important as this." He says. We talk for a few moments more before his ride is here and he has to head out. "Andy, I hope I'm not keeping you from going back home." I say referring to Michigan. "I actually don't think I'm gonna go back..." he says. "Oh really?" I ask. "Steph's here, I wanna be here. Plus I'll help the people here." He says. "I think Steph would appreciate that." I assure him. "I know she would've liked to come here" Andy says to me. "She's here in spirit." I say. Again we talk for a while before he leaves and I go back to Nathan and our family.

"You ready to go to dinner?" Mrs Prescott asks. We had all agreed to go to dinner and I was excited for it. Though my mother not coming hurt i decided it was best to not waste time on someone who didn't want to put time in for me.
