Guilty As Sin? (Nathan Prescott x reader)

Authors note: id just like to apologize for how long this fanfic is getting. There are still some major plot points that I'd like to get to so I hope you guys don't mind <3

Nathan's pov:

I walked into my room and saw y/n laying on the bed facing the wall farthest from me. I couldn't tell if she was asleep or not so I tried to be as quiet as possible. One thing I noticed is that the whale sounds were playing. I haven't had the need for them since y/n and I have been together, but maybe she put them on because it helped her?

I put my things down and get my stuff for my next class ready. I hear y/n shuffle in her the bed and I turn and see her now facing me with her eyes open and glossy. "Hey" she says softly. "Hey... uh Dana asked about you...I didn't tell you much just that you were okay and that I'd let you know she asked." I tell her.

I can see her smile, "Dana asked about me?" "Yeah- you guys are friends aren't you? Plus other people have asked too. I also picked up your homework from your classes, but don't worry if you don't want to do it I'll have some geek do it for you." I assure her.

She laughs for the first time since everything has gone down. "That's okay I can do it, uhm tomorrow I have a meeting with Steph's parole officer." She tells me. "Do you want me to take you ?" I asked. "No that's okay, he will pick me up. I'm gonna call Dana later." She explain and I nod in response. "Vortex party tonight so I'll probably be back late"

"Well you know where to find me. I'll probably work on the chem project with Warren later." She responds quietly. "How's that going?" I ask. "Good. It's actually helping me a lot."

After a few moments of silence I say, "I gotta go to class, cya tonight." I tell her and grab my things and head out.

Y/n's pov:

When Nathan left I grabbed my phone and called Dana. It rang for a few moments before, "y/n! What the hell, where have you been? Are you okay? Did something happen? Did Nathan do something? I'll kill him!" She says angrily and very quickly in to the phone. I laugh and reply to her, "He didn't do anything, uhm basically...a friend from- rehab passed away and I found out right after the play. I had this whole melt down and I've just needed a break. Sorry you had worry."

"Oh my god I'm so sorry I had no idea. Do you need anything?" She asks. "No, plus you have the vortex club party I wouldn't wanna intrude on that." I assure her. "Oh my god! You should come! Get your mind off things, and let everyone know you're alive so Courtney can stop trying to steal your man." She suggest. "Dana I'm not sure I'm ready- wait what about Cortney?" I ask. "Oh yeah she's been practically throwing her self at Nathan these passed two weeks. Today she even said something like 'oh Nathan let's go to the vortex club party together since y/n has become the new Rachel amber.' Which obviously Nathan did not like at all." She explains and I laugh. "Jeez, she sure is something." I say.

"But what do you say y/n, vortex party? Food after? Sleepover!" She suggest. I knew I wouldn't be able to get out of now. "Fine I'll go, can you go into my room and pick me up an outfit? I'm in Nathan's room." I ask. "Of course! I can't wait to play dress up!" She cheers and then hangs up.  What did I get myself into.
