Story Unfolds:
At a small forest near Kurukshetra: six month later:
One beautiful girl was now sitting at the door of a small Hut. She seemed absentmindedly looking at the sky. Six months had passed away out of blue approproximately since she left her marital abode. Of Anga. Yes you all guessed right. She was none but Devi Vatsyala or our cute Shalu herself.
She had revived her past memories nowadays. Now she identified herself as Devi Kalika, the daughter of Lord Sheshnag. She knew that due to her deep love to a Gandharv Prince being a snake girl she had been banished from heaven. She was ordered to go to earth and to become Devi Vatsyala in this life. She remembered everything. As if she never forgotten it at all.
The place here was very calm and peaceful. It was a place near the same battlefield of Mahabharata war. Yet so very far from there. It was at the top of a small mountain. With only one big oak tree under it. The atmosphere was soothing. The breeze of air was gentle. Animals ran here and there. People had no qualms to live along with them. They too ran around them freely. The people living here were mostly sages with simple life style. No complexity of life had touched the simple things here. The life was here monotonous yet simple. At the dawn women went to bathing in the ponds. Men got up and hurriedly went to the meditation. Animals ran out of their coven. Children went to the home of the teachers to learn. Sages practiced for hours when at lunch and dinner they ate merrily with their respective families. No duty. No responsibility. No luxury. No complexity. Only love and tenderness.
She had been made a small Hut along with others. To live here. In this very peaceful atmosphere. Baba Adhirath made the Hut. All girls helped him. To make it. After that he and Radhama went deep inside the forest where no hassle of life could touch them. A bit. To mediate hard. Since then they did not come back. She did not have any idea that they died together there in Prayopabeshan or fasting!!!
Here in this Hut she lived along with Uttara, Laxmana, Subhadra, Ashavari and other sage ladies. They loved to spent time with each other. Asha had left her life of royalty behind and had became a Sannyasin or nun. She was devastated by the death of Yutyutsyu, her husband, along with his parents, Gandhari and Dhritashtra. He took with him Vidura and Kunti. But he refused to take her along with. She, as a loyal wife, was heartbroken. It was the first blow. The second blow on her heart was the demise of Padma. She thought at last her Sakhi Padma had forgiven her. For her hatred to Karna. But the cold and lidless corpse of her Sakhi made her speechless. She was adamant to live the life of luxury of herself behind. So she went together with this girls.
Devi Ashavari
At this very moment she was seen to pick flowers for her gods. She loved to choose flowers in her own hands. She had seen the girls. Uttera was seen to sigh deeply while cooking the food for all. Laxmana was sitting beside her in groompy face. Shalu was sitting at the doorpane. All the girls were giving different reactions. Yet as a mother she knew what they were all thinking. They all were missing their respective life partners, Avimanyu, Shamb and Vrishasen, very much. She knew the symptoms!!! She within some months had became mother-figure to all of them!!!
