Story Unfolds:At the Royal chamber of Mathura:
One old man was sitting at his throne regally. He was the father of the King yet he had to rule the state on the behalf of his elder son most of the time. As his son was reluctant to take the responsibility on his shoulders. He loved to work as a mentor of his all disciples. He was too happy to work in the fields with his farmers. But never very fond of royal works. He was a strange man. Yet the old man knew it perfectly that it was not due to his negligence. Nor that he was unintelligent. His son just too shy to sit down on throne to work as a King. So he wanted his father to work as his representative most of the time.
Today he too was on a boring meeting when his beloved grandchildren ran to him. To great speed. One among of them was crying inconsolably while the other three mocking and taunting her. They were singing and dancing together by showing their thumbs to her.
"Shalu ke bibah!!! Shalu ke bibah!!!"
He was dumbfounded by hearing the claim. The marriage of Vatsyala??!! At the age of 5?!!! Preposterous idea!!!!
He was thinking deep when the baby girl ran to her and sat down before his feet. She was still crying fanatically.
"Dadu!!! Dadu!!! (Grandfather!!! O my grandfather!!!)"
Cute Shalu or Vatsyala
She sniffed hard and stammered too while uttering this one word.
The old man opened his arms to her. The baby girl ran to him and jumped on it. He dragged her towards himself and forced her to seat on his lap. Then he wiped her tears and asked her very politely
"Kya huwa?!!! (What happened?!!)"
The girl sniffed and looked at him in painful eyes. His heart ached for his dear granddaughter tremendously. He loved her wholeheartedly. Just like his daughter Subhadra. Now let me try to introduce him to you all. He was the dear grandfather of Vatsyala, father of Krishna-Balram-Subhadra, husband of Devaki-Rohini, Basusdev himself.
