Story Unfolds:
At the Royal tent of Anga:
One girl of sixteen was sitting upright grumpily. She was so scared. This was the second day of their marriage. Yet her husband took part in the war. She was so petrified as she knew her fate. She was so worried that she almost forgot to eat or drink anything.
Devi Vatsyala or Shalu (anxious)
All of a sudden she looked at the plate before her eye level. She was amazed to see it here. Then she lifted her eyes to the lady who was holding the plate before her."Khale. Barna bimar pad jayegi. (Eat something. Unless you will be ill.)" The lady told her with authority.
She looked at the face of her mother-in-law with surprise. Then she broke into a sob. She was so touched. She had the knowledge that her mother-in-law was super busy with the falling mental health of her baby sister Uruvi and physical condition of her another baby sister Supriya. She had no idea that even within this Padma had been noticing about the hunger of Shalu. It was astonishing that she had cared so much for her daughter-in-law. Like her own daughter. This lady loved all her daughter-in-laws and treated all of them as her daughters. Be it Kana, Pari, Nanda or Shalu.
Devi Padmavati (her dear mother-in-law & mother of Vrishasen)
Padma made a ball of rice and lifted her right palm to the face level of her elder daughter-in-law Shalu. However in her heart she was worried while as usual she showed a brave face. Before Shalu. As she was not sure about the future of Vrish and Shalu. A little bit. As a mother she was worried for her son Vrishasen too.
Shalu hugged her tightly. She put on her left palm over her head and then looked at the sky. In the faintest hope that Vrish would survive this day!!!!
Padma murmured softly to her deity indicated her mind
"Madhava, mere Vrish ka raksha karo. Is mata ki antim binati sunlo. (Save my son Vrish. Please listen to my last pleading.)"
At the warfront, One man closed his eyelids slowly. He knew that the time of Vrishasen's life was short and truly limited. He could not save the Boy. He loved the boy very much. But he could not change his destiny. He was called as a God yet he himself was helpless!!! He could not alter anyone's destiny. Neither of Avi's nor of Vrish's. They both had to die prematurely.
