This is a purely fan fiction story on the Mahabharata series. In most of Mahabharata series no mention of Sashi Rekha or Vatsyala was to be found. In most scriptures on the epic, Karna's son Vrishasen was never married. He was truly heart broken by the abduction of Mani or Laxmana and never married. This theory was also followed in the Ved Vyas Mahabharata.
There is controversy about the very existence of Vatsyala too. In Telegu scriptures she was married with her cousin brother Avimanyu as her parents refused to let her marry him. Avimanyu With the help of Ghatokatch had abducted and later married her forcefully. There no mention of Uttara was to be seen. As wife of Avimanyu. But I followed the interpretation of Ved Vyas where she was not married to Avimanyu and married someone else.
