"Everybody wanna know why you're not answering" Zay said sounding concerned.
"I'll talk to them later, I promise" I said biting my nail. "How was class yesterday, did you get a good score on your essay" I asked smiling at him.
"Yeah I got 100%, class was boring since Pops wasn't talking as much as he usually do" He said tapping his pen. "Why are you pretending to be happy? I know y'all not, y'all usually talk all day" He said sighed closing his laptop.
"Good morning Son" I heard Israel say in the back making my lip quiver. I miss him but I'm not going to tell him that...
"See I told you" Zay frowned before looking up. "Good morning Pops, I made a smoothie yours is in the fridge" He said before looking down at the screen.
"Thank you, who are you on the phone with" He asked making me mute myself.
"Ms. Elle, she muted herself... because she's crying" He said trying to whisper the last part.
"Isaiah" I groaned after unmuting the phone.
"I'm trying to fix it since y'all not, I don't know what happen but yall need to talk Today" He said looking between Israel and the phone.
"I promised I would talk to everybody today, but later Zay" I told him while wiping my face.
"Text me back Passion" Israel said making me clear my throat and pick up the phone.
"Later Israel" I said making Isaiah sigh.
"Alright" He said before storming off.
"I'll call you back when I get back online" Zay mumbled rubbing his forehead.
"Okay" I mumbled before hanging up. I laid back and put the cover over my head, as if somebody could see me crying.
