Ch. 3: Provoke

It's the next day Kaz is sitting at the edge of the bed putting her hair in her famous ponytail and Marie is watching her do so

'How do you get your hair that perfect in a ponytail?' Marie asks

'A lot of practice' Kaz says, Marie sits up

'Hey are you mad about last night?' Marie asks, Kaz looks at her and smiles

'No, I'm just mad at myself for not letting you process what you found out' Kaz says

'Don't get wrong part of me still loves him because that's unconditional love right there, but the other half of me can't love him anymore because of what he did to those women, the question is are you mad at me for killing him because I know how your crew runs outside of here, no killing towards the man just enough to scare them' Marie says

'No, I'm not mad at you because in my opinion it was self defense' Kaz says, Marie smiles

'Thank you for understanding' Marie says, Kaz smiles

'You're welcome, come on get dress I'll walk you to the showers just in case Juice's crew tries to do something to you' Kaz says

'Alright' Marie says

She puts her bath robe on and Kaz walks her to the showers and stays with her until Marie gets done

It's yard time meaning you can stay out here as long as you want to without getting into trouble and you go from the yard and to your unit, so Marie and Allie are sitting at one of the picnic tables in front the fence facing the yard while the others do their own thing

'So how was last night with Kaz' Allie whispers, Marie blushes and looks away

'That good huh' Allie says, Marie looks at her

'All I will say she was a lot better than I thought she would, I knew that she would be good but I didn't know that she would be that good' Marie whispers

'Ahhhhh, so it is going to be third base for now on?' Allie asks, Marie blushes

'Just don't get on Kaz's bad side because I have seen what she has done to people who have and if you just mess up once she won't forget about it' Allie says

Marie looks at Kaz when Allie said, who's sitting on top of the picnic table talking to her crew and Kaz looks at Marie and winks at her then goes back to talking to her crew

'Yeah but even if she is angry it's still hot and sexy' Marie says

Allie looks at her and Marie looks at her, Allie chuckles and Marie winks at her and Allie takes a drink of her coffee and just smiles and Marie smirks and Kaz watches their interaction

'Oh no here comes Ann, wonderful' Allie says, Anna walks up to them

'Hello ladies' Ann says

Everybody stops what they are doing and just watches because Marie and Ann have a bitter past of taking cheap shots at each other and throwing things at each other, Ann is Vera's boss

'I heard that you killed your son for what he did to those poor women and it's just too bad he's not here so serve his sentencing, oh well I guess you will do' Ann says

Marie stands up and grabs her coffee cup and takes the lid off of it and she looks at Kaz and mouths 'I'm sorry' then she throws the coffee on Ann, Ann screams and she turns around and Lou sprays her with the hose and everybody starts laughing and Kaz puts her head down and rubs her hand over face and looks at what is about to happen next

'Ann what happened?' Officer Miles, she walks up to her

'That one threw her coffee on me and this one sprayed water on me!' Ann says

'Officer Jackson take them to the governor's with Kaz and I'll take Ann to the showers' Officer Miles says, they all leaves

At the governor's office, Marie is standing on one side and Ann is standing on the other side and Kaz is in the middle of them

'Well I saw the security footage and I'm on Marie's side because you Anna you said something to provoke her so Marie you're not punished by me neither is Lou because she was helping you to get rid of the coffee burns, as for Kaz she can punish them whatever she sees it' Vera says, Anna storms out the office and slams the door

'Lou isn't going to get punished because she was trying to help Ann, Lou you can go back' Kaz says

'I'll take her back' Officer Miles says, they leave, Kaz looks at

'And as for you, for the next week you are going to help me in the kitchen cleaning morning, afternoon and evening, do you understand?' Kaz asks

'Yes ma'am' Marie whispers

'Fine by me, you're free to go' Vera says, they leave

Kaz and Marie gets back from the governor's office

'I'm sure that you guys know your way back to the yard' Officer Jackson says

'Yes sir' Kaz says

He swipes his card and opens the door, they walk through it and walks down the hallway and when they turn the corner Kaz pushes Marie up against the wall and points her finger at Marie

'If you ever pull a stunt like that again, so help me god I won't be nice to you, I told you before just because you're my girlfriend doesn't mean that you will get any special treatment!' Kaz says

'I'm sorry, my anger got the best of me like always but you heard the governor she had it coming' Marie say

'I get that I do but please next time think before you throw something at someone because next time I don't think I can save you like I did today, you're lucky Ann left mad' Kaz says

'For now I'll do whatever you say or want me to do' Marie says

'For right just helping me out in the kitchen' Kaz says

'Yes ma'am' Marie says, in a sad voice, she leaves but Kaz grabs her left wrist

'Wait a minute' Kaz says, Marie stops walking and turns around and looks at Kaz

'I'm sorry for losing my temper just now, it's just knowing that I can't play favorites even if the person is right' Kaz says

'Don't worry about it I get yell at all the time' Marie says, Kaz walks up closer to her

'But she did deserve though' Kaz says, they start laughing

Kaz starts kissing Marie, Marie kisses her back and they both stops because they both needs air

'Come on we can finish this later on tonight' Kaz says, Marie smiles

'Sounds good' Marie says

They head back to the yard and pretend like nothing happened at the governor's office and nobody asks what happened because it's none of their business, rule number one never ask someone what their punishment is
