Ch. 50: Awakening

Marie and Kaz are visiting Kimberly in the psych ward they are standing outside while they get Kimberly ready for them, out in the hallway Kaz is standing next to the door and Marie is standing across from her

'Are you ready to do this?' Kaz asks Marie, Marie looks at her

'Honestly I'm not sure how this is going to go, either I can get through to her or she's going to be in here for the rest of her life' Marie says

'Do you think that you can get through to her?' Kaz asks

'Honestly, it's a long shot but stranger things have happened before' Marie says

'How so?' Kaz asks, Marie looks at her

'You and me got together' Marie says, Kaz smiles

'Ok yes that was strange but I think it's not strange anymore, ok maybe a little bit but other than that I think we are a somewhat stable couple' Kaz says, Marie chuckles and walks up to her, she puts her head on Kaz's chest

'Aw, are you shy now?' Kaz says, teasing Marie

'No, I'm just tired' Marie says, she looks at Kaz

'I could tell because I saw you last night staring at the ceiling all night' Kaz says

'Man I must have been really focus on thinking because I didn't even notice that you were awake' Marie says

'Hopefully tonight we can get some better sleep' Kaz says

'Yeah, hopefully' Marie says, then the door opens

'We're ready for you guys' Dr. Miller says

'Let's go' Kaz says, they walk in the room

When they walk in the room they see Kimberly half sitting up and half laying down staring at the wall in front of her hair is messy hasn't been brushed in days

'Alright Marie do your magic' Officer Stewart says, they look at him

'Don't push it' Marie says

'Right' Officer Stewart says

He stands in front of the counter, Kaz stands beside him and Marie walks up to Kimberly

'Have you seen anything like this before?' Marie asks Dr. Miller

'Yes I have but not this long or this bad before, usually within a couple of days they snap out of it but Kimberly is not coming out of this for a long time' Dr. Miller says

'Damn it' Marie says

For some reason Officer Stewart is trying to snap his fingers and Kaz looks at him

'What the hell are you doing?' Kaz asks, Officer Stewart looks at her

'I'm trying to snap my fingers' Officer Stewart says

He goes back to trying to snap his fingers again and he is going it all wrong

'Ok you don't do it like that' Kaz says

While Kaz is teaching Officer Stewart snap his fingers he finally gets it and snaps fingers

'Yes I finally got it!, thank you Kaz' Officer Stewart says, Kaz chuckles

'You're welcome' Kaz says, Officer Stewart starts whilsting and snapping his fingers nonstop

As he is doing that Marie can see Kimberly is moving her eyes like she's trying to blink her eyes, Marie looks at Dr. Miller

'Did you see that?' Marie asks Dr. Miller

'Yeah I did, Kimberly can you hear me?' Dr. Miller asks Kimberly
