Ch. 51: New Discovery

In the laundry room Kaz, Bea, Allie, Lizzie and Boomer are in there standing around the table talking and folding sheets

'I thought we would have some more help' Lizzie says

'Spike isn't feeling well' Bea says

'What's wrong with her?' Boomer asks

'That time of the month' Bea says

'I'm glad those days are behind me' Lizzie says, they laugh

'You two are awfully quiet today' Boomer says, to Kaz and Allie

'Kimberly's court date is coming up and she's no way ready for it' Kaz says

'And I'm trying to get inside Marie's mind' Allie says

'Aw don't do that, you'll hurt your own brain' Boomer says, they laugh

'Does she have a idea or plan that I don't know about yet' Kaz says

'Not yet but when I get one you'll be the first one to know about it like always' Marie says, as she walks up to them

'How's Kimberly doing?' Bea asks

'She's about the same, but luckily Summer is going to be visiting me tomorrow, so maybe I can get some information that we don't know about yet' Marie says

'Rita didn't give you Kimberly's file yet?' Lizzie asks

'She's been busy lately and I can't force her to stop everything because of one kid who doesn't know what day it is' Marie says

'Is she going to plea not guilty with reason by insanity?' Allie asks

'Yeah and if she does then she'll be in a mental hospital for the rest of her life or until she gets better' Marie says

'I just want to know what led up to the argument between Kimberly and her parents to the point of killing them' Kaz says

'Summer said that Kimberly was trigger by something that they said' Bea says

'Does she know what it is?' Lizzie asks

'No unfortunately she doesn't' Bea says

'Where are you going to talk to her at?' Kaz asks Marie

'In the church' Marie says

They have a church on the prison property for anybody that needs to go there for whatever they believe in

'I have to see that' Allie says, they laugh

'Are you sure that aren't going to get burn' Boomer says, they laugh

'Mandy and them are going to be cleaning the church tomorrow I can tell her to keep it down for you guys' Lizzie says

'Oh don't worry all she has to do is give them that famous look then they will shut up' Allie says, they laugh

Marie isn't pay attention because she just had a idea pop into her head

'Oh no she has a idea' Allie says

'Ok what is it and what do I need to do?' Kaz asks, Marie looks at her

'I think I know a way of reading Kimberly's file and that's where you come in' Marie says

'Oh I can't wait to hear this one' Boomer says, they laugh

'They don't trust me of reading it alone because I might steal some information but they do trust their main top dog if you were there to make sure that everything goes smoothly then they will let me read it' Marie says

'Well it's good thing that I have a somewhat good reputation in here compare to you' Kaz says

'I'll take that as a yes' Marie says

'Alright we'll go after lunch because the bell is about to ring for that anyway' Kaz says, Marie smiles

'Perfect, thank you' Marie says

'You can thank me by helping us folding sheets, since you can do it better then we can' Kaz says

'Aw man' Boomer says

They look and sees Boomer tangle up in a sheet as they are helping her get out of it they are laughing Kaz looks at Marie

'My point exactly' Kaz says, Marie chuckles

They finally get Boomer untangle from the sheet as soon as the lunch bell rings

After lunch in the Governor's office Kaz and Marie are standing in front of the desk

'What can I do for you ladies?' Mr. Jackson asks

'Would it be ok if I look at Kimberly's file with Kaz watching me just in case I try to steal something from it, I won't but I know that you guys don't trust me but I do know that you guys trust Kaz' Marie says, Mr. Jackson looks at Kaz and she smiles

'Ok I'll let you read it but make sure Kaz you keep an eye on her' Mr. Jackson says, he gets up

'Like always' Marie says

'Easy' Kaz says, Mr. Jackson hands Marie Kimberly's file, she takes it

'Thanks' Marie says, Kaz rolls her eyes

Marie opens Kimberly's file and starts reading it with Kaz reading it over her shoulder something catches her eye

'What is Kimberly's birthday?' Kaz asks Mr. Jackson says

'July, fifth, two thousand and eight' Mr. Jackson says

'It says on here, May fourth, two thousand and four' Marie says

'That means she's twenty years old' Mr. Jackson says

'Really captain obvious' Marie says, sarcastically

'Either she was adopted or Kidnap and she doesn't know that she was until that night because like Summer said Kimberly was trigger by something that they said' Kaz says, Marie continues to read it and she gets to the bottom of the page

'There's two different signatures on her birth certificate' Marie says, Kaz walks up to her and reads it

'John Robertson and Julie Robertson' Kaz says

'Then who the hell is Christopher Eagles and Melissa Eagles?' Mr. Jackson asks

'That's something that you need to figure out' Marie says

She throws the file down in front of him and leaves, Kaz following her quickly because Marie is mad as hell and Mr. Jackson puts his hands over his face and sighs

'What do we do?' Mr. Jackson asks himself

'Hey, wait a minute' Kaz says, she stands in front of Marie, who stops walking

'I know that you want to tell Kimberly what we just found out but now it's not the tine' Kaz says

'I know and I'm not going to tell her right now, I'm going to go the others first because I just read something else in that file that will make everything in this prison turn upside down' Marie says

'Like what?' Kaz asks

'Ann is Kimberly's biological mother' Marie says

She walks around Kaz, leaving a shock and confused standing there

'Oh my god' Kaz whispers

She looks at how far Marie walk and she runs up to catch up to Marie and they go back to the prison to tell the others what they just found out about Kimberly's file and none of them are happy about it
