Ch. 33: Missing

It's Saturday and all the inmates can do whatever they want to but Marie has a plan in her mind, she's laying on her bed then Kaz stands in the doorway

'Ok, you have to get up and do something' Kaz says

'Oh fuck off' Marie says, Kaz is in shock

'Excuse me!' Kaz says

She walks up to Marie and puts one hand on Marie's pillow and the other one on the bed and leans down to Marie's level

'You want to repeat what you just said to me again?' Kaz asks, in a serious tone

'It got your attention, didn't it?' Marie asks

Kaz puts her head down and Marie starts laughing Kaz looks at her

'Oh you think it's funny, don't you?' Kaz asks

'A little bit, you have been ignoring me all morning long' Marie says

'Ok let's how funny it is when I do it all then!' Kaz says, in serious voice, she walks out mad

'Don't worry I won't be a bother anymore' Marie whispers, she starts crying

It's lunch time everybody is at their table but Marie

'Where's mom at?' Reb asks, as he sits down

'Probably in her cell because she doesn't want to see me right now' Kaz says

'Why?' Bea asks, Kaz tells them what happened

'Don't worry she will be here shortly' Kaz says, Liz walks up to them

'Hey Liz was Marie in her cell just now?' Maxine asks

'No, she wasn't' Liz says

'Or in the showers' Boomer says

'I think that I went a little bit too far, didn't I?' Kaz asks everybody

'Well she is right every time she would try to talk to you, but you would brush her off to the side' Allie says, Kaz gets up

'I lost my appetite' Kaz says, she leaves and goes looking for Marie

Kaz starts looking from Marie's cell and her other hiding spots are at, Allie walks up to Kaz when Allie sees her in the hallway

'Have you found her yet?' Allie asks

'No, I have check everywhere' Kaz says

'She's in the boiler room' Spike says, from behind them, they look at her

'Whatever happened between you guys I heard that she was crying' Spike says

'Damn it!' Kaz says

'Thank you Spike, let's go' Allie says, they leave

Kaz and Allie walks in the boiler room and they start looking around until they hear crying

'Spike was right she is crying' Kaz whispers

'I haven't heard her cry like this since Danny's death' Allie whispers, Kaz looks at her

'You go talk to her, I'll wait here' Allie whispers, Kaz smiles

'Thank you' Kaz whispers, Allie smiles

Kaz follows Marie's crying and it finally leads up to Marie sitting on these steps crying Kaz stands in front of her

'Finally I found you' Kaz says, Marie doesn't respond

'Listen I'm sorry for what I said earlier about ignoring you all day, I just thought you were having one of you sassy moments, I also didn't know that I was ignoring you this morning until you said something, for now on of you have something to tell me I'll stop whatever I'm doing to listen to you because I don't like making you cry, I know now you only told me to fuck off to get my attention, now you have it' Kaz says

Marie looks at Kaz with tears coming down from her eyes Kaz walks up to her and hugs her

'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry' Kaz says, she kisses Marie on the head

Once Marie finally stop crying and has calm down Kaz and Allie helps Marie back to her cell

Later that night after dinner Kaz is in her cell reading then Marie stands in the doorway

'Hey' Marie says, Kaz looks at her and takes her reading glasses off and sits up

'You must be getting old to be able to have reading glasses' Marie says, teasing Kaz, Kaz chuckles, Marie shuts the door and locks it

'So I'm guessing that I'm forgiven?' Kaz asks, Marie sits down in front of her

'Oh yeah, you have been forgiven since you apologize, I was just crying so much I couldn't get the words to come out, I'm sorry for telling you to fuck off I was only saying that in a joking way to get your attention' Marie says

'I guess we're both at fault' Kaz says

'And immature too' Marie says, Kaz chuckles

'I wasn't crying because of what happened between us, I was crying to finally let out some anger that I had inside of me over the past couple of months' Marie says

'I rather have you cry than punching someone else and me trying to figure out a punishment for you' Kaz says, Marie chuckles

'Yeah, well I guess you are making me change for the better' Marie says, Kaz smiles

'Well I'm glad to hear that, I meant what I said in the boiler room whatever I'm doing I'll stop to give you my full attention because I don't want to end up here again' Kaz says, Marie smiles

'Me either, by the way who told you that I was in the boiler room?' Marie asks

'Spike did actually, me and Allie ran into her in the hallway trying to find you, which by the way don't disappear like that again because one you almost give me a heart attack and two because we almost went to lock down' Kaz says

'I'm sorry about that too' Marie says, Kaz smiles

It's fine now, I'm just glad you are alive' Kaz says

'Well don't forget I have more than nine lives' Marie says, Kaz chuckles

'By the looks of it we are on good terms now' Kaz says, Marie looks at her

'Yeah we are' Marie says, they kiss

'That's what I was trying to tell you earlier' Marie says

'Our morning kiss, how could I ever forget that' Kaz says, she puts her head on the wall behind her

'Hey, hey, hey' Marie says, she gets up and sits on Kaz's lap, Kaz looks at her

'It's ok, it's just one kiss, if we can go a whole day of not kissing some times depending on what our assignments are, I think we handle one morning kiss' Marie says, Kaz smiles

'Yeah, I guess you're right' Kaz says, they kiss

'That kiss felt different, what's wrong now?' Kaz asks

'Nothing but how we go from almost killing each other literally to now with me sitting on your lap' Marie says, Kaz chuckles

'Trust me I'm still trying to figure that out myself, but I won't change it, would you?' Kaz asks

'Us being together no, but us before coming here, I would change' Marie says

'Wait a minute, have always had a crush on me even before coming here?' Kaz asks

'No, if things were back to how they were before coming here than I would change how I did my business and who knows maybe we would be together a lot sooner than later like how we are now' Marie says

'Yeah maybe, now I can show you what old really looks like' Kaz says

Marie laughs then Kaz picks her up and lays her down and Kaz gets on top of her and they start kissing then the clothes starts to come off and they eventually have sex
