Ch. 45: The Meet Up

Kaz is sitting on her bed reading a book then Allie stands in the doorway Kaz looks at her and smiles, Allie smiles back at her

'Hey, um I'm worried about Marie' Allie says

'Yeah, I am too' Kaz says, Allie walks up to her and sits down beside her

'After that tornado she just hasn't been the same Marie like before' Allie says

'Actually I think it started way before that with the whole Amy Sanders situation' Kaz says

'They haven't caught her yet?' Allie asks

'They haven't even seen her yet' Kaz says

'She must be hiding really good then' Allie says

'Yeah, what did Marie do to her to make Amy come after her like that' Kaz says

Something clicks in her head then she gets up and leaves Kaz gets up and follows her, Marie is washing her face in the sink in her cell then Allie walks in with Kaz right behind her Marie wipes her face off and looks to her right she sees them standing there

'I think I may know why Amy Sanders is after you' Allie says

'I have heard just about everything, let's see if this one sticks' Marie says

'Where is that packet of all those woman's names on it' Allie says

Marie walks up to her cabinet and opens it she looks for it and finds it she picks it up and stands up she hands it to Allie, Allie takes it and starts reading it finally she gets to the third page

'Right here, Melissa Sanders' Allie says, Kaz and Marie looks at the name

'That's why she's after you because her family member was one of Danny's victims' Kaz says

'And she thinks that you know what he did' Allie says

'I think I have a way of ending this once and for all, follow me to the Governor's office' Marie says, she leaves

'I haven't seen that look in along time' Allie says

'Me either but I'm glad it's back though, come on let's go' Kaz says, they leave

In the Governor's office all three of them are standing in front of the desk

'We know why Amy Sanders is after me, Allie love please show Mr. Jackson what you found please' Marie says

Allie hands Mr. Jackson the packet and reads the highlighted name

'Melissa Sanders, that's Amy's daughter' Mr. Jackson says

'I figured, all those names is all of Danny's victims' Marie says, Mr. Jackson looks at her surprise

'And I know how to draw her out of hiding but I need help from the department and everybody else who is higher up than them to do it' Marie says

'Ok let me get the department on the phone then' Mr. Jackson says

He picks up the phone and calls the person who's in charge of the department and Marie explains her plan to them and they don't like it but it's the only way to do it

'Alright let's get you ready' Mr. Jackson says, Marie smiles a evil smile

Later that day everybody is sitting around their TVs as the news breaks that Marie was released on parole

'I hope this works' Reb says

'This is Marie that we're talking about here when did her ideas never worked out' Sheila says

'That is true' Kaz says, they keep watching the TV

Outside in the real world Marie is sitting at a picnic table in the park and then Amy walks up behind her

'I figured that this is the only way to get you to come out of hiding, take a seat' Marie says

'What about them?' Amy asks

Amy and Marie looks around there's a bunch of cops surrounding the area

'Oh there are not here for you, they are here for me' Marie says, Amy sits down across from her

'Besides I paid your bail anyway' Marie says, Amy looks at her surprise

'Oh well thank you' Amy says, Marie smiles

'You're welcome, I know that your daughter was unfortunately one of Danny's victims and that you want revenge on him' Marie says

'Yeah, I do, do you know where he is?' Amy asks

'No but I can tell you where he's buried at' Marie says

'He's dead?' Amy asks

'Yeah and I killed him in cold blood, and I don't regret it at all' Marie says, as she smokes her cigarette, Amy looks at her in shock

'So you didn't know about what he did to her until later on?' Amy asks

Marie explains to her how she found out and hands her the packet of all the woman's names on it

'That's all of the woman's names that he R word and killed' Marie says

'So I don't need to get my revenge because you already did it for everybody in this packet and for all the families too' Amy says

'In a way yes I did' Marie says

'Can I keep this?' Amy asks

'Oh yeah go ahead, I already have the original one, I have made copies of it, this is just one of the many ones that I have' Marie says

'I know that you're not really out on parole but would it be ok if I come to visit you ever now and then?' Amy asks

'Sure, I don't get visitors anyway, none of us do' Marie says

'I won't show the families this packet unless they want to see it' Amy says

'Fair enough' Marie says

Amy writes down her number and hands it to her, Marie takes it and Marie looks at her

'I hope this brings you some closure, not just for you but for all of the other families too' Marie says, Amy smiles

'I hope so too, I'll come visit you next week if that's ok' Amy says

'Sure, no problem' Marie says, Amy gets up

'Take care of yourself' Amy says

'You too' Marie says, Amy smiles and walks away

Once Amy fully leaves the parking lot Mr. Stewart walks up to Marie

'Are you ready to go back?' Mr. Stewart asks

'Yeah, I am, now I feel like my old self again' Marie says, Mr. Stewart smiles

'I'm glad to hear that so will everyone else too' Mr. Stewart says

He puts the handcuffs on Marie and they head back to Wentworth, Marie feels like a bunch of weight has been lifted off of her shoulders finally
