Ch. 39: Sharing

Marie is walking down the hallway

'Hey Marie' Allie says, as Marie walks pass her, she stops and turns around

'Oh hey Allie' Marie says, Allie walks up to her

'Have you seen Kaz today?, because I haven't seen her all day today' Allie says

'Let's walk and talk' Marie says

'Ok' Allie says, they start walking

'Kaz is in medical she woke up this morning and had a fever, hopefully it's just a twenty-four bug' Marie says

'Why?' Allie asks

'Because guess who she put in charge as the temporarily top dog' Marie says

'You, man I hope she gets better soon' Allie says

'Top dog does sound nice and all but there's a lot of responsibility that comes with it' Marie says

'I know that when Bea was top dog' Allie says

'I have to go tell the other top dogs what's going on' Marie says

'Ok I'll talk to you later then' Allie says

'Wait a minute, wait a minute, what's going on with you?' Marie asks, they stop walking

'Let's walk and talk' Allie says

'Alright' Marie says, they start walking

'It's just Bea spends most of her free time recently with Spike, I know that they have to spend time together to get to know each other but still where do I fit in at' Allie says

'I would say have you told Bea any of this but it sounds like you can't because Spike is there twenty-four seven' Marie says

'I don't mind sharing but just fit me in somewhere' Allie says

'Now I feel like I should have just sign the adoption papers instead if I knew it cause this much trouble between you guys' Marie says

'No matter what if you did or not, they were already friends  anyway so the same thing would happen no matter what' Allie says

'Speaking of one of them, here comes Bea, now it's your chance to say something to her' Marie says

'I know' Allie says, Bea walks up to them

'Where's Kaz at?, all of the other top dogs are freaking out in the lounge room' Bea says

'I better go tell them, I'll let you guys talk anyway, I'll see you guys later' Marie says

'Bye' Allie says, Marie leaves, Bea looks at Allie

'What's going on?' Bea asks

'Kaz is sick she's in medical hopefully with just a twenty-four bug because she put Marie in charge temporarily' Allie says

'Oh geez, she's going to be ok right?' Bea asks

'Of course she is, this is Kaz that we're talking about here' Allie says

'Yeah, good point' Bea says

Bea can tell something else is bothering Allie

'Ok what else is bothering you?' Bea asks

'You and Spike' Allie says

'Ok what about us?' Bea asks

'Where do I fit in at because it's just you two twenty-four seven recently' Allie says

'Oh no' Bea says, she puts her hand on her forehead

'What is it?' Allie asks

'I messed up didn't I?' Bea asks

'Mm-hmmm' Allie says, Bea walks up to Allie and puts her head on her chest

'I'm sorry' Bea says, Allie smiles

'Hey look at me please?' Allie asks, Bea looks at her

'Listen I don't mind sharing you with Spike it's just fit me in somewhere' Allie says, Bea smiles

'I'll do you one better, Spike is now taking art lessons here so she's going to be busy for awhile' Bea says, Allie smiles

'Now I'm all yours for whatever time the art lessons end' Bea says

'Alright, now what do we do now?' Allie asks, Bea smiles

'I have a few ideas in mind' Bea says

Bea takes Allie's hand and goes back to Bea's cell 😉

Later that night in medical Kaz is still there and Marie visits her before bedtime

'Hey, how did things go today?' Kaz asks

'Not bad at all, although the other top dogs were freaking out because they didn't know what happened to you but once I told them what happened to you them relax a little bit, anyway how are you feeling?' Marie asks

'Pretty good actually, the fever broke around lunch time, I haven't had one since then' Kaz says

'That's good, you have more color in your face compare to this morning' Marie says

'Well good that means I'm on the right track then' Kaz says

'Why does this feel so weird' Marie says

'What does?' Kaz asks

'Normally I'm the one in medical and you're normally standing where I'm standing at' Marie says, Kaz chuckles

'Hey, all of us do get sick every now and then' Kaz says

'Yeah, true, what did the doctor say?' Marie asks

'They think that it's just a twenty-four bug but they want me to stay over night just in case it's the flu or a cold' Kaz says

'Good idea' Marie says

'Anything to report to me about?' Kaz asks

'Yeah, actually once you're feeling better than you can deal with punishments' Marie says

'Ok who and why?' Kaz asks

'One of the inmates punch Officer Stewart' Marie says

'For how long in the slot?' Kaz asks

'Until she apologizes to him but I don't see that happening any time soon' Marie says

'Ok next one' Kaz says

'A fight broke out between H3 and H4 in the yard but that's taken care of by Zaina and Tina' Marie says

'Good one less thing that I have to worry about, anything else?' Kaz asks

'Nope' Marie says

'Good' Kaz asks

'Excuse me ladies but it's time for bed' Officer Stewart says, as he walks up to them, holding his jaw

'How is your jaw doing?' Marie asks

'Man she has a good right hook' Officer Stewart, they laugh

'Alright let's go Marie' Officer Stewart, Marie chuckles and walks up to Kaz

'Ok, I'll see you tomorrow, I love you' Marie says, Kaz chuckles

'I love you too' Kaz says, they kiss

'Aw isn't that just sweet' Officer Stewart

But when he says that, it sounds like he's drunk, Kaz and Marie laughs

'Ha ha ha' Officer Stewart says, they laugh

Marie leaves and Officer Stewart walks Marie back to her unit
