Ch. 27: Reunion

Zaina is in the storage room in the kitchen putting some dishes away and May stands in the doorway

'Hey' May says, Zaina looks at her

'Oh hey, I thought we were going to meet up before dinner time' Zaina says

'Yeah, we were, it's just something really bad just happened and I just had tell you right away before it gets back to you' May says, Zaina's stomach drops and looks at her

'What happened that was really bad?' Zaina asks, looking confused

'The new girl in our unit was flirting with me and then she kissed me and I couldn't get out of her grip then Boomer breaks it up and turns her around and punches her and knocks her out' May says

'Jesus Christ, remind me to not piss Boomer off' Zaina says

'Wait you're not mad?' May asks

'Listen I'm not happy about her kissing you but at the end of the day she doesn't know any better she's new here she doesn't know who's taken and who's not, trust me it's hard to keep up with that stuff, besides it's just a stupid kiss, but if she ever comes to you and pulls that stunt again then I will end it once and for all' Zaina says

'I think that's what Boomer was trying to do' May says, Zaina chuckles, May walks up to her

'I just hope that you can trust me for now on when I tell you the truth I never had anybody trust me before in any relationship' May says, that breaks Zaina's heart

'Well those people are the wrong ones to be with, so far you haven't broken my trust yet and I do trust you still because you came to me and told me what happened, of course I'm going to take your word over anybody's word unless they proof that you did then that's a different story' Zaina says, May smiles and Zaina kisses her

'I need to thank Boomer for what she did' Zaina says, Boomer stands in the doorway

'Oh you're welcome, I didn't want my mom take the blame for something that she couldn't control because that girl had her finger dig down deep in mom's arms' Boomer says

May smiles and Zaina looks at May's arms and does see some finger nail marks on May's arms

'Wow she never wanted to let you go huh' Zaina says

'I was trying to get out of her grip' May says, Zaina looks at the clock and back at May

'I have some more stuff to put away, I'll meet up with you guys in a few and go from there' Zaina says

'Ok sounds good' Boomer says

May looks at the table behind Zaina and everything is put away and she knows that Zaina is about to beat up that poor new girl

'Alright, I'll see you shortly' May says, they kiss and they leave

Once they leave Zaina walks by over to where she was at and puts her hands on the table and gets that 'I'm going to get my revenge one way or another' look on her face

Zaina gets done in the storage room and goes to her unit what she doesn't know that May is secretly following her Zaina gets to her unit and walks up to the new girl's cell and stands in the doorway and she's in shock of who it is

'Oh my God, Rosalia' Zaina whispers, Rosalia looks at her

'Please don't hurt me I didn't know that May is your girlfriend!' Rosalia says,

Rosalia covers her face up and Zaina walks up to her and sits down beside her

'Hey, hey, hey, relax I'm not going to hurt you' Zaina says, Rosalia opens her eyes and looks at her

'You're not?' Rosalia asks, Zaina smiles

'No I'm not, come here' Zaina says, Rosalia smiles and they hug

Rosalia is Zaina's cousin and she's in prison for arm robbery just like Zaina, May stands in the doorway they stop hugging and Rosalia looks at May

'Oh hey, May' Rosalia says, May smiles

'Hey' May says

'I'm sorry for what happened earlier' Rosalia says, in a sad voice, Zaina looks at Rosalia

'Don't worry about it you didn't know that she is in a relationship, especially since you're the new girl how would you know who's taken and who's not' Zaina says

'Yeah, besides I already forgiven you, and I wrote down who is dating who in here, because of have done that to someone else's girlfriend that wouldn't end well' May says

She walks up to them and hands her a piece of paper and Rosalia takes it

'Thanks I think this will come in handy for the future' Rosalia says, Zaina looks at May

'Was you following me?' Zaina asks

'Yes I was because I know what you're capable of when you're mad and want revenge on someone' May says

'Me too, that's why I was hiding out here' Rosalia says, Zaina looks at her

'I was going to get my revenge on the new girl I just didn't know that the girl was you' Zaina says

'Well I'm glad that you didn't' Rosalia says, Zaina smiles

'Me too, so why are you in here for?' Zaina asks

'The same charges as you arm robbery' Rosalia says

'I'm not even surprised by that because our family has been doing thar for generations' Zaina says, they laugh

'Boomer got you pretty good huh?' May asks, looking at Rosalia's jaw

'Yeah, but she apologize after I told her who I'm related to' Rosalia says, Zaina smiles

'Do you guys forgive me?' Rosalia asks

'Well you know I do' Zaina says

'Of course I do too, it's water under the bridge now' May says

'Oh I forgot to tell you since you're one of the top dogs around here, Boomer said she will be my protection' Rosalia says

'Sounds fair to me' May says

'You're lucky to have Boomer as your protection' Zaina says

'You seem tired?' Rosalia asks May

'Yeah that's because when you get to her age you get more cranky when you're tired' Zaina says, May looks at her

'Excuse me' May says, Zaina starts laughing

'Oh, so you think that's funny huh, let's see if you think this is funny to you' May says

May starts tickling Zaina, Zaina is laughing and trying to get away and Rosalia just watches them while laughing too, she can see that they are good for each other, after the tickle fest it's time for dinner and they go to the cafeteria, Zaina introduces everybody to Rosalia and tells them she is her cousin too
