Ch. 6: Unexpected pt.2

Later that morning Marie is walking towards the cafeteria looking tired and then Rita turns the corner behind her

'Hey Marie' Rita says, Marie stops walking and turns around, Rita walks up to her

'Oh hey Rita' Marie says, she yawns

'Did Kaz worn you out last night?' Rita asks, teasing Marie

'No, but I wish that was the case' Marie says

'Maybe we should talk once you get your sleep' Rita says

'No, no, what's up?' Marie asks

'First let's get something in your stomach then we can talk' Rita says

'Alright, let's go' Marie says

They go to the cafeteria and Marie eats her breakfast then they go to the lounge room when it's raining outside they hang out in there or in the indoor court, Marie sits on the arm of the chair and Rita is standing in front of her

'So what's going on?' Marie asks

'I Um had sex with a screw here last night and now they want to be in a relationship but take it slowly' Rita says

'Ok it seems like you guys have figured things out, so what's the problem?' Marie asks

'It was with Officer Miles' Rita says, Marie looks at her in shock

'Wow, I didn't know that you had that in you, ok how did it lead up to you guys having sex?' Marie asks

'Drinking and her telling me about the divorce early this year and her falling into my lap while trying to get up and me saying we have to let out sexual frustrations out some how' Rita says

'Well that will do it' Marie says, Rita chuckles

'So are you bisexual now?, because the only that I know of is you are straight and the only person that you have been with is with Ray' Marie says

'I know but honestly I haven't felt like this since Ray' Rita says

'It sounds like you already made your mind, I think it's time to have a serious talk with Officer Miles and see if you guys can take things to the next level slowly though' Marie says, Rita smiles

'When did you know when you were bisexual?' Rita asks

'Honestly I really don't have a label I just like who I like and go from there' Marie says

'Hopefully I'm the one that you like' A voice says, from the doorway way, Marie and Rita looks at the doorway and it's Kaz

'Of course it is babe' Marie says, she smiles

'I'm going to go talk to that person that we were talking about and see what happens' Rita says, Marie smiles

'Let me know what happens' Marie says

'I will' Rita says, she leaves and Kaz walks up to Marie

'How much of that did you hear?' Marie asks

'Just that last part about your sexuality' Kaz says

'What about you, do you have a label?' Marie asks

'After what my dad did to me when I was younger I couldn't look at men the same way it wasn't until high school that I realized that I am a lesbian' Kaz says

'Wow first ever you have opened up to me like that, that's why you were so against my business so much' Marie says

'Yeah one of the reasons why but that's in the past, I'm just more worried about you right now, you almost fell in the cafeteria and you look tired as hell, what's going on?' Kaz asks

'I'm just worried about our relationship now' Marie says

'I was too at first but as far I can tell nobody has hurt you yet, right?' Kaz asks

'No threats, no violence, nothing, which is good but it also means they are probably planning something for us or just for me' Marie says

'They won't hurt you unless you are alone, which I won't happen not on my watch' Kaz says

'You honestly think that's going to stop them from getting to me?' Marie says, Kaz sighs

She walks up closer to Marie and takes her hands and holds them

'Hey, look at me please' Kaz says, Marie looks at her

'I will let nothing bad happen to you, that's a promise that I will take to the grave' Kaz says, Marie smiles

'I know you will because look at what you did to me with that bomb' Marie says

'Yeah, I still have PTSD from that' Kaz says

'I know, so do I but I forgiven you along time ago because you had a lot anger towards me and I don't blame you for what you did' Marie says

'Well I'm glad that you did forgive me' Kaz says, Marie smiles and they kiss

'Come on you need some more sleep' Kaz says

'I'm not even going to argue with you on that one' Marie says

'Good idea' Kaz says, Marie chuckles

They leave and Marie goes take a long nap, with Kaz keeping an eye on her from time to time

Later that night Officer Miles walks in the office where Rita is staying at just to put some papers away and then Rita walks in the doorway

'Hey' Rita says, Linda looks at her

'Oh hey, I didn't expect to see until later' Linda says

Rita shuts the door and locks it then walks up to Linda and just starts kissing her Linda is surprised at first but then she starts kissing her back they keep kissing until both needs some air

'Ok what has gotten into you don't get me wrong I like what just happened but I thought you didn't want a serious relationship right now' Linda says

'Let's just say someone told me earlier today to not wait until something happens if it feels right then go for it' Rita says, Linda smiles

'Ok, what do we do now?' Linda asks

'Let's make a quick one before the night shift starts' Rita says

'Alright fine by me' Linda says

They start kissing they don't even make it to the bed they just have sex on the desk
