Ch. 13: Surprise!

Ruby is also a detective but undercover she's there to get inmates sentencing cut down she has a few days until she's 'release' from prison, now word got out that she's a undercover cop

Ruby is walking down a hallway that leads to the showers then Lou and Mandy walks up to her

'We know that you're a undercover cop' Mandy says, Ruby's eyes winded

'Relax, we're not going to hurt you, nobody is going to hurt you from Kaz's orders and the fact that you're helping us getting our sentencing cut down and it's showing that you are keeping your promises' Lou says

'What do you mean?' Ruby asks

'Me, Lou abd Reb got letters in the mail from the court cutting our sentencing down, mine from forty years to twenty years, thank you for that' Mandy says, Ruby smiles

'You're welcome' Ruby says

'Mine and Reb's sentencing was thirty-five years cut down to twenty-five years, from me and Reb thank you, Reb said tell Ruby I appreciate what she did for not just us but for everybody in here' Lou says, Ruby smiles

'Well you're both are welcome' Ruby says

'Why are you helping us inmates get our sentencing cut down for?' Mandy asks

'Well I feel like years don't match the crimes that happens, for example I don't think robbery charges are the same as murder charges, those should be two separate sentencing, I feel like a forty years for a couple robbery charges seems to be a little bit too much, murder on the other hand should stay the same amount of years depending on if it's first, second or third degree' Ruby says

'Because when you're robbing someone you're not killing them unless you do, you just want their stuff but murder you are taking someone's life unless it's self defense' Mandy says

'Exactly' Ruby says

'What about murder in here?' Lou asks

'I'm still fighting for that one because why add more years to their sentencing if they are going to be in here for the rest of their lives' Ruby says

'But the court says otherwise' Lou says

'Yeah for right now they are against it, honestly what happens in prison should stay in between them the inmates  because at the end of the day some of them are going to die in here regardless whatever more years they add to it' Ruby says

'Well it's a good thing that we have a good cop on our side' Mandy says

'That's why people are not attacking you because they see you as one of the good ones fighting for us inmates which never happens' Lou says, Ruby says

'Thank you for trusting me' Ruby says

'In the meantime until you change into your normal day clothes Kaz has given you protection from us and Kaz's crew too' Mandy says

'I'm not surprised' Ruby says

'Come on lunch is getting started' Lou says

'Well here goes nothing' Ruby says

'It won't be that bad' Mandy says

'Come on let's go' Lou says

They walk towards the cafeteria Lou walking in front Ruby and Mandy walking behind Ruby just in case someone tries to slice Ruby's throat open, they walk in the cafeteria everybody stops what they are doing and looks at them then everybody starts clapping and cheering for Ruby then Reb runs up to Ruby and hugs her almost knocking her down

'Ok, hi to you' Ruby says, she chuckles, Reb stops hugging her

'Sorry, it's just my way of saying thank you' Reb says, Ruby smiles
