The Riddles - Mattheo And Tom One shots

Bully (rewritten)

Out of all the boys in this school there is no one I despise more than Mattheo Riddle. He is the leader of the popular group which my brother Theo is part of. They bully and belittle anyone that doesn't fit there mould. The last person they bullied was my best friend Tom who is Mattheo's brother. They bullied him so bad that Tom attempted suicide and three months later he is still in a coma in Saint Mungos, mattheo doesn't care either. The entire school hates him for it which he finds highly amusing. Sadly I have become there newest target.
I was walking back from the library when they walked past me and deliberately shoved me in to the wall, making me land on the floor with a thud. Yet another bruise to add to my collection. Sadly for them Snape saw them and they got detention. I limped back to my dorm and took a warm bubble bath to ease the pain. Oh how I wish Tom was here. I get to go visit him tomorrow so it's something to look forward to but I do wish he was awake though. I miss him so much.
The next day I arrived at the hospital and as expected there was no change. I sat next to his bed and took a hold of his hand and let my tears fall. "Tom please wake up, please don't leave me. I can't handle any of this without you, please come back to me. Mattheo and Theo have started bullying me now. They add a new bruise to me almost everyday. They got detention the other day, they shoved me over and Snape saw them. Please come back to me. You promised me forever, don't break that promise. I need my Teddybear Tom back." I couldn't speak anymore and I burst in to tears. I sat there with him all day, everytime I visit him I read to him. I've been reading him Pride and Prejudice a muggle book. I love muggle books but because of Theo I have to leave the book here so they don't ruin it. Mattheo hasn't visited Tom once or even asked about him.
After I returned to Hogwarts a few Slytherins asked about Tom but I was quickly brought back to reality with an almighty bang when Mattheo ad Theo appeared. "I thought there was a bad smell around here. Haven't seen you all day, was hoping you'd left for good but sadly not." Of course all of Mattheo's little lapdogs laughed. "Since you seem so concerned about me Riddle. I was at the hospital visiting Tom because clearly I care more about him than you do but I suppose it is your fault he's there. I don't know how you sleep at night knowing your own brother tried to kill himself because of you. You truly do have a heart as cold as ice." I stormed off to my room and locked the door before he could follow me. I don't understand how he doesn't feel even the smallest bit guilty. I knew he was evil but I didn't think he was that evil.
The next day my outburst from the previous day ended up earning me a collection of new bruises. The worst part about all this is my father knows what Theo and Mattheo do to me but he encourages them to do it. Says I need to be put in my place. My father thinks women are only good for cooking, cleaning, having babies and following there husbands every command.
Over the following three weeks the bullying got worse and worse. Tom's condition was improving and the healers were hopeful he would wake up.
I'm currently sat at the Astronomy Tower struggling to breathe and bleeding following another attack by Mattheo and Theo. I was close to blacking out when I felt a hand on my shoulder and I immediately flinched and backed away. The person reassured me I was safe and I slowly relaxed and allowed them to come nearer. I felt a hand on my shoulder as they continued to try get my breathing under control. When I was able to clear my eyes of tears I was finally able to see the person clearly. It was Professor Snape, I looked at him in shock. "I know I'm the last person you expect to be helping but I had a feeling those boys had done something bad so I got it out of them what they did and where you were. Why didn't you tell anyone what they were doing?" I looked down at me hands ashamed. "I was scared to, my father encourages them to do it. He doesn't care about me, he never has. Theo was always more important than me. They always have to ruin any good thing I have, I'm not allowed to be happy." I looked at Snape and he had a look on his face that I didn't think he was capable of, he looked saddened. "You know there is a way you can get out from your father's control."
"There isn't a way, I'm only seventeen so I can't leave without a guardian to take over and there is no way my father would agree to give up guardianship of me. He enjoys watching me suffer to much."
"There is a way actually, but I'm afraid you would have to trust me. I can help you get free of it if you'll let me help." I looked at him confused. "How come your helping me though?"
"I know what it feels like to be in your shoes. James Potter and his friends bullied me relentlessly in school as well as taking Lilly from me and I ended up becoming a death eater because of all that. I don't want the same to happen to you and Tom. I can help you but because Tom is eighteen all I can do to help him is make sure he has a safe home to go to when he wakes up. He won't be going back to Malfoy Manor. I can remove your father's guardianship and give you a safe home with the help of the headmaster of course. All you have to do is agree."
I still couldn't get over the shock that he was helping me but I agreed.
We headed for the headmasters office where the three of us then travelled to the ministry. When we arrived Snape filled out all the relevant paperwork. I was interviewed by the minister about my home life and told him I had letters my father had sent me than could help prove how he treats me. The minister requested to see them and requested a full list of all counts of bullying occurred at school and abuse at home. A ministry healer also did a full check up on me and confirmed that I'm covered in both old and new bruises and scars.
For the next two weeks Snape kept a closer eye on me and had all the teachers keeping an eye on me as well and had them all watch Mattheo and Theo. Tom's condition was continuing to improve and the healers are hopeful he will wake up in a few days or a week.
I've been requested to attend a hearing at the ministry so I can hopefully become free of my father. The headmaster, Snape, my father, Theo and Mattheo were also in attendance.
All the evidence was shown and the only two left to speak was me and Snape. When my father spoke he said I was lying and it was all fake. It was my turn now and merlin I was nervous. "Miss Nott I already have everything from you that I need but I did want to ask, if we vote in your favour would you be comfortable with your guardianship being given to Proffesor Severus Snape?" I didn't realise that's what Snape meant when he said he could help me. "Yes I would sir." Satisfied with my answer he dismissed me and called Snape up as I took my seat next to the headmaster.
"Severus what has made you want to help Miss Nott?" I glanced over at my father and saw a look of death on his face as he waited for Snapes answer. "I've been in her position before and I had no one to help me and as a result of that I went down a dark path, I don't want the same thing to happen to her. She deserves a chance at a normal happy life and she can't have that if she remains under her father's guardianship." After some further questions they were ready to make there decision. I stood between the headmaster and Snape and tried to not make my overwhelming nerves obvious. "All those in favour of Miss Sophia Nott staying under the guardianship of her father, raise your hand." The only person to raise his hand was Lucious Malfoy. "All those in favour of Miss Sophia Nott being placed in the guardianship of Severus Snape, raise your hand." The rest of them all raised there hands and my knees gave way as I realised I was free. Thankfully Snape caught me and held on to me as my tears of joy and relief fell.
"We are not done, we have another matter to attend to, Gaurds if you could" a group of ministry guards grabbed my father "Jacob Nott I am here by sentencing you to life in Azkaban for the heinous crimes you've committed against Sophia. Theodore Nott and Mattheo Riddle I suggest you take this as a warning, keep going the way you are and you will end up in Azkaban with him. Court dismissed!"
After we returned to Hogwarts, Snape gave me some papers and a new wizarding ID card. My surname was now Snape, I hadn't realised that would end up happening but I was so glad it did. I smiled as I read it and gave him a hug, "thank you for saving me."

It's been three days and everyone is now scared of me because of Snape being my father now. I'm on my way to the hospital to visit Tom, when I arrived I almost fainted when I saw him sat up in bed holding the book I had been reading to him. As soon as he saw me I ran straight to him and threw my arms around him and we both broke down and cried.
"Darling I'm so sorry for being so stupid, I shouldn't of reacted that way, I should of asked for help. While I was asleep I heard every word you said and every tear you cried. I'm so sorry for trying to leave you, I promise you will get your forever darling." I couldn't contain it any longer, I leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. I was about to pull away when he stopped me by returning the kiss. We sat there kissing for several minutes until we pulled apart breathless. "I love you Tom and have done for years, almost loosing you scared the hell out of me and I couldn't hold that in anymore." He gave me another small kiss "I love you to darling."
"I have some good news, when your discharged you won't be going back to Malfoy Manor." Confused he asked "where am I going then?" I smiled at him "your going to be moving in with me and my new father" the look he gave me was a mixture of shock and confusion "Excuse me what?! Who's your new father?" I was about to reply when a voice spoke from the door way "that would be me" Snape said. The look on Tom's face was priceless. We then explained to Tom everything that had happened while he was in a coma. He was shocked by it all but glad I was safe.

After he was discharged and able to return to school Tom had to rejoin a year lower because of all the school he missed so he was now in my year. Theo and Mattheo and there friends kept there distance knowing me and Tom were both under Snapes protection. The two boys sadly never learned and continued to bully people until they ended up getting expelled a few months before the end of seventh year. After graduating me and Tom ended up getting married and had two children. We made sure we raised our son Severus to be a protector over his sister Isabella and he ended up doing just that. He protected his sister from anyone who tried to harm her, when our children met up with Mattheo's three children and Theo's son in Hogwarts, our children made it very obvious they were not be messed with especially when the students realised that Professor Snape was there grandfather.

Who knew the one to save me from my bullies would end up being the last person you would ever expect.
