The Riddles - Mattheo And Tom One shots

Phantom

In case you don't know my name, I'm Sophia Nott if you don't know me where have you been living, under a rock. I attend hogwarts and am about to start my seventh and final year. I'm known as the Slytherin Queen. In my group I have five friends and my brother. I'm called the Slytherin Queen because I'm the girl that every girl wants to be and the girl that every guy wants but no one can have. I'm also in charge of the group. I'm the boss, what I say goes. My boys stay in line and don't do anything without my permission.  In return I keep them out of detention and keep there parents off there backs. Now that you know me let me introduce my boys.
First up is Theo my twin brother, he's the spy. He has the ability to find out anything about anyone with very little effort on his part. He's more skilled with his fists than his wand but he's a good fighter. Being my brother he is one of the most protective out of all the boys when it comes to my safety. Sometimes a little to protective.
Next up in Lorenzo Berkshire, Enzo is the charmer, he can charm himself and us in and out of any situation. I will never understand how he does it but its a skill I'm glad he has. He's also the joker and prankster of the group so he is the hardest to keep out of detention.
Next up is Blaise Zabini. Blaise is the healer, he is the one that keeps the boys in one piece. He is insanely skilled at potions which comes in very handy.
Next up is Draco Malfoy. Draco is the manipulator. He can use anything or anyone to his advantage with ease. He gets what he wants when he wants it. Its a skill I have taken advantage of many times.
Next up is Mattheo Riddle, he's the muscle of the group. He's the most physically strong out of all the boys. He tends to punch first and ask questions later. Hes the youngest son of Voldemort. He's also my most over protective body guard. A guy simply looks at me and Mattheo will beat the hell out of him. He's my boyfriend so I guess it's cute how protective he is.
Lastly there's Tom Riddle he's the brains of the group. He is the most powerful and skilled wizard of his age. He's a quiet person which means he notices a lot of things that the rest of us miss. He is the oldest son of Voldemort, Tom being just under a year older than Mattheo. He's not physically strong but his wand skills are the most powerful out of us all. He's also the Riddle that most people are terrified of.

If you ask me any question about any of my boys, I could easily give you an answer. I know each one of them better than they know themselves, apart from Tom. He doesn't give much away; I can tell you he despises chocolate frogs and is allergic to mushrooms but that's it. Can't even tell you his favourite colour. I've known him since I was eleven and I still know very little about him.
We're not two months in to the school year and Tom has started acting more odd than normal. I know the boys will say im over thinking it and it's just Tom being Tom, but I know something is wrong. I followed him one day, and I saw him go in to the chamber of secrets, I didn't follow him in but after he left back to his dorm I snuck in to the chamber. When I got down there I stood frozen when out of hole in the wall came a basilisk.
"I'm not going to harm you I'm a friend of Tom's, it's okay your safe. I just want to help Tom, it's okay I'm not going to hurt you." Hang on I just spoke parseltounge. Since when could I speak parseltounge, I'm not an heir of Salazar Slytherin. Maybe it's because Mattheo and Tom always argue in parseltounge that I've picked it up over the years. The giant seemed calm at my words.
"A new friend, Tom has been my only friend my whole life. What is your name new friend" okay apparently I can understand parseltounge as well.
"My name is Sophia. Do you have a name?"
"I don't have one but you can give me one if you like."
"How about Phantom?"
"I like it. You said you want to help Tom. What do you want to help him with?"
"He's been acting differently and I'm worried about him. I saw him sneak in here earlier and I was hoping I could find out what's wrong with him."
"He's been having nightmares about his father. He said being down here with me calms him. He likes being away from the noise of the school. He doesn't know how to talk to people but he talks to me"
"I wish I could help him."
"Just keep an eye on him. You can always come talk to me if your worried about him."
"I will, I think its best if we keep this between us. Tom doesn't need to know I was here."
"Of course." I bid farewell to Phantom and headed back up to the school. I just had a conversation with a giant snake, just when I thought my life couldn't get any more weird. I got back to my room and flopped down on my bed. I wasn't left in peace for long though. Mattheo came in and climbed on the bed pulling me on top of him. I lay there on his chest in silence.
"Princess are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine I'm just tired"
"Haven't seen you for a few hours, I got worried I couldn't find you."
"I'm sorry love I was around but we must of missed each other. I was looking for you at one point as well."
"Yeah must of just missed each other" I don't think he believed me. I can't tell him where I really was.
Over the next few months I kept an eye on Tom and learned more about him thanks to Phantom. Mattheo was growing more suspicious that something was going on.
"Sophia we need to talk"
"What's wrong you never call me by my name"
"You need to tell me the truth. Where do you keep disappearing to all the time?"
"I... I can't tell you"
"Are you cheating on me is that it"
"Don't be so ridiculous of course I'm not cheating on you."
"Then where the hell do you keep going!" He was getting more and more angry.
"I can't tell you!"
"I knew it, you are cheating on me!"
"You know what fuck this, I'm not going to stay here and be accused of shit I didn't do. I am not cheating on you. I would never cheat on you because I fucking love you but if you can't trust me enough to believe me when I say I'm not cheating then I guess were done. It's over. I hope your happy with yourself" I walked away in tears and went straight to Theo. He said he trusted me when I said I couldn't tell him where I was going and he agrees that Mattheo should of believed me.
Six months ago my life was perfect. Seventh year had just started, my group were all happy and content and I had an amazing boyfriend. Now I'm heartbroken, worried about Tom and I haven't even been paying any attention to the rest of the boys or my brother.
It's been two months since the break up and I still heart broken. I can't get him out of my head or my heart. The boys have all drifted as well. The group is falling apart. The only one I talk to everyday is Theo. The rest I talk to sometimes and I never talk to Mattheo anymore.
I was walking through the halls when I heard screaming and shouting coming from the great hall. I ran towards it and saw a chained up basilisk and Tom being held by two professor's.
"Headmaster what's going on?" The minister and Potter were standing next to him and just as the headmaster tried to talk, Potter cut him off. "Tom is just like his father that's what's wrong. He's going to kill us all just like his father tried to. I saw him going in to the chamber he was talking to the snake. Probably making plans to kill us."  All I saw was red. I had never felt this angry before.
"First of all Potter don't ever say he's like his father because he's not. Secondly I'm guessing you can't speak parseltounge anymore so you wouldn't of known what they were talking about so you shouldn't jump to conclusions. Lastly neither Tom nor the snake are dangerous."
"Miss Nott he brought a basilisk in to the school."
"Minister with all due respect you have no idea what your talking about. That basilisk is the baby of the one Potter killed. Its egg was hidden deep in the chamber and the reason the snake is acting this way is because its scared. This snake was cared for and nurtured by Tom and your holding Tom hostage and Potter you snuck in to the chamber and I'm guessing the basilisk saw you. The snake is just trying to protect Tom. That's why it came out of the chamber, because you were going after Tom." I could sense Tom getting more agitated. I look over to the people holding him. "Will you two please let him go, he hates physical contact and your making him agitated which is making the snake agitated." They looked to the headmaster who gave them a nod and they let go of him. Tom gave me a grateful smile.
"Sophia how do you know all this about the basilisk. I'm the only one who knows and I haven't told a single person."
"At the beginning of the school year I noticed you starting to act odd and knowing that people would jump to the wrong conclusion I started to keep a closer eye on you to see if I could find out what was wrong. I saw you go in to the chamber one day so after you left I snuck in and that's when I met the basilisk. Let me show you how I know everything about the snake." I looked at the snake and said. "Phantom are you alright, did they hurt you?" "I'm not hurt don't worry" the hall filled with gasps. All my boys were the most shocked. Tom finally broke the silence. "Since when could you speak parseltounge and since when did my basilisk have a name." "You and Mattheo always argue in parseltounge so I must have picked it up over the years and I gave it a name when I first entered the chamber. Phantom told me everything about its history and its bond with you, all the times I've been dissappearing and not able to tell anyone where i was going I was in the chamber with phantom trying to find a way to help you. Minister, headmaster neither of them are dangerous. I know Tom has some of the same mannerisms that his father did but that doesn't mean he is like his father. He may be quiet and have the same temperament as his father but he would never do what Voldemort did. He's not capable of that level of violence and the basilisk is his pet that will be leaving hogwarts when we leave. Just please stop this nonsense. No one knows my boys better than I do and Tom would never do anything to put the students in harms way. It was Potters inability to put the past behind him and not be so judgemental that endangered the students. If anyone is at fault it's Potter." The headmaster looked at me for a few moments then spoke.
"You know minister she's right. If Mr Potter hadn't followed Tom then none of this would of happened." The minister agreed to release Tom and Phantom. Me and Tom took Phantom back to the chamber.
"Thank you for saving us Sophia."
"Were friends Tom, your one of my boys. You guys protect me and I protect you."
"I'm sorry your relationship ended because of me"
"That wasn't your fault, that was Mattheo's fault for not trusting me." "You still love him don't you?"
"I never stopped and I never will."
"He still loves you and he always will. You should talk to him. He needs you. Now are you going to tell me how we are taking the basilisk home when we leave."
"You'll find out" I smirked at him as I left. Mattheo ended up finding me and after a long chat he had admitted he's an idiot that doesn't deserve me and he can't live without me. I agreed to take him back but it would take time for me to forgive him.

After graduating Hogwarts we took the basilisk to our new home with its own chamber of secrets for Phantom to live in.
Me and Mattheo got married and had five kids, Tom lived with us helping us look after the kids and teaching them all about Phantom. Not many kids can say they have an uncle with a pet basilisk.
