Mattheo Riddle the most popular guy in school, every guy wanted to be him and every girl wanted to be his, well every girl except Sophia Nott. Mattheo had been trying to get with her since third year but Sophia is convinced that he only wants sex and that's it. She doesn't trust him one bit. You can imagine Mattheo's anger when Sophia got in to a relationship with his cousin Draco. Poor Mattheo felt heartbroken so he went back to his old ways of random hookups, he stopped doing it hoping that Sophia would agree to go on a date with him but she kept refusing. He is madly in love with her but Sophia despises Mattheo, she always has.
One afternoon Sophia was walking through the halls when Mattheo stopped her. "Sophia can we talk?" She rolled eyes "did you forget I have a boyfriend" He got a lump in his throat as she said that, he hates that it affects him so much. "Don't remind me, its not about that. I know you probably won't believe me but Goyle and his friends are planning something to get you to sleep with one of them. Just thought I should warn you. I know you hate me but I don't want you to get hurt." She didn't know if he was telling the truth or not. "Your right I don't believe you but because I know how much you despise Goyle and his friends I will listen and I will be careful."
As Sophia walked away she realised Mattheo said 'don't remind me' was he serious when he said he liked her, she didn't know what to believe so she decided to push it out her mind.
A week had gone by and still nothing had happened yet. Sophia was running through the halls trying to get to the library before Granger took all the good books. She ran round the corner and ran straight in to Mattheo knocking them both on the floor with her landing on top of him. "Don't worry Princess I won't say what I'm thinking." For some reason she blushed and she felt butterflies in her stomach, they felt weird. She hoped that he didn't see her blushing. "Let me guess you like this position, you know Mattheo I have to agree. Your easier to kill when you pinned." He chuckled "I knew you liked me back" she got up to her feet "I do not like you". He walked right up to her and put his mouth next to her ear "considering your blushing princess I would say your lying to yourself, you know its bad to lie." He kissed her ear and walked away. Leaving her there speechless and the butterflies getting worse. What was wrong with her she thought, she has a boyfriend and she loves him doesn't she?
After the encounter she forgot about the library and went to Draco's room. They ended up having sex but this time it didn't feel like loving sex, it just felt like meaningless and pointless sex. Her head was even more of a mess. She was torn between Draco and Mattheo and she didn't even know what she felt for Mattheo. She did know one thing though, she doesn't love Draco anymore. She had to break up with him but how can she without hurting him.  She was stuck.
It had been three weeks since she found out about Goyles plan and still nothing so she thought it wasn't going to happen. She was wrong. She was returning from an after curfew walk when they grabbed her in the common room. One mistake they made is Mattheo Riddle doesn't sleep before midnight and his room is right next to Goyles room. They carried her towards his room and as soon as they got to Mattheo door she banged on it as hard as she could. Goyle and his friends tried to get her away but wasn't quick enough. Sophia was quickly dropped on the floor and blacked out. She woke up the next morning wrapped in a pair of muscular arms. She felt happy and safe in these arms but once she woke up a little more she realised the arms didn't belong to Draco. It was Mattheo "morning princess, how's your head?" She looked at him confused "em yeah fine but why am I here?" 
"You got knocked out when they dropped you and I didn't think it would be wise for you to be alone" she blushed a little at how caring he was being "Thanks for taking care of me and for rescuing me." They were now stood next to the bed inches apart "your welcome princess." The tension between them was building but thankfully she managed to restrain herself from doing anything stupid. She wanted to kiss him so badly and already missed being in his arms. She really needed to break up with Draco but how to do it without hurting him is the question.
It had been two weeks and she still hasn't broken up with him. There was a party going on in the Slytherin common room and Sophia was hiding from Draco, he was being to clingy and she was fed up of it. She stood in a dark corner of one of the dorm room hallways alone until Mattheo appeared out of the shadows. "How long have you been hiding there?" He stopped in front of her "long enough to know your hiding from your overly clingy boyfriend that you dont love anymore and are struggling to breakup with" She looked at her feet "is it that obvious" He lifted her chin so there's eyes met and took a step closer to her "I was just guessing but you really don't love him anymore do you." She tried to look away but he stopped her "No I don't and I don't know how to breakup with him without hurting him." He took another step closer to her and put one hand on her waist and the other on her check. She gave in and placed one on his chest and one on the back of his neck. The tension had reached breaking point "you've stopped lying to yourself at long last princess. You finally realised that your in love with me and not Draco. I still love you Sophia, I never stopped and never will." She looked longingly in to his eyes "you're right, I love you to Mattheo." They released the tension and connected there lips the kiss was full of love and passion and a hunger for more. They couldn't contain there need and want to go further. Mattheo's hand slid under the back of her dress and up her bare thigh. There was no space between the two. Every inch of there bodies were touching and as Sophia felt Mattheo's growing bulge she let out a small moan as he started kissing down her neck. Sophia went back to the party and managed to avoid Draco for half an hour until Pansy Parkinson suggested truth or dare. Sophia hates the game but Draco makes her play. She's now starting to realise that Mattheo was right when he said Draco wasn't good for her. She sat between Mattheo and Enzo with Draco sat right opposite her and he had a very odd expression on his face that she couldn't figure out. The first half of the game was boring until Blaise dared Draco to make out with Pansy and he did it. Sophia felt no jealousy at all. Astoria got dared to make Draco hard which she did and then Draco whispered something in her ear while he kept eye contact with Sophia. It was now Sophia's turn and she got dared to sit on Mattheo's lap. She was happy to. This was the weirdest game of truth of dare she had ever played and if she hadn't been so distracted by what happened with Mattheo then she might of figured out what was going on.
Mattheo chose dare and he got dared to make out with Sophia and he was happy to. During there make out session they hadn't noticed that Enzo and Blaise had slipped something in there drinks. A little bit further in to the game and things changed. "So I have some random questions. Sophia do you love someone?" She looked at Pansy confused "yes I do." Pansy smirked "Mattheo when did you last have sex." Mattheo couldn't stop the answer coming out "an hour and a half ago." Him and Sophia realised they had been seen and had been spiked with truth serum. "Sophia when did you last have sex and who with?" She knew there was no point trying to fight the truth serum. "An hour and a half ago with Mattheo." The entire common room gasped. "Mattheo and Sophia do either of you regret it?" They both said "no we dont" at the same time. Draco was fuming. "Let me get this straight Sophia you don't reget cheating on your boyfriend with his cousin?" She looked Draco straight in the eyes and said "no I don't regret cheating." The whole room was full of whispers. "So how long has this been going on for and when did you stop loving Draco and start loving Mattheo?" She knew this was going to hurt Draco most of all. "I never truly loved Draco. I loved him but not in a true deep love way. All this time I thought it was Draco I truly loved but turns out it was Mattheo and I was to scared to admit it. I know that hurts Draco but don't give truth serum if you can't handle the truth."  Draco hadn't said a word the whole time, he kept death staring Mattheo "well cousin if you want my sloppy seconds you can have her." Mattheo wasted no time in moving Sophia off his lap and a fight broke out between him and Draco. The fight continued until Snape walked in and just as he walked in Draco's fist connected with Sophia's face and blood started pouring out her nose. Mattheo went running to her "shit princess are you okay?" He grabbed some nearby tissues and held them on he nose. "Mr Malfoy come with me, Mr Riddle take Miss Nott to see Madame Pomfrey. The rest of you get to your beds before I give you all detention."
Thankfully it was just a broken nose and was an easy fix. After leaving the hospital wing the new lovebirds went to Mattheo's room and cuddled up together until they fell asleep.
The aftermath of that night was bad. Sophia was hated by every girl in Slytherin for cheating on Draco with his cousin and for taking the most wanted guy in the whole school. Her and Mattheo lost all there friends as a result of it but they didn't care as long as they had each other.
They ended up becoming friends with Potter and his group, a friendship no one saw coming but in the end they had a real and true friendship that they had never had before and they couldn't be happier.
