I was able to blink away enough tears so I could make out the blurry outline of Enzo wrapping his arms around Theo. I think hearing that brought back memories for Theo as well. We all walked to the great hall and were about half way through our meal when Mattheo and his friends walked in. As soon as Theo saw Draco he snapped. None of us tried to stop Theo. He then hexed Draco before walking back to me.
Tom looked at Mattheo "like I said little brother, don't underestimate the things Theo will do to protect Sophia" He said smirking at his brother as the four of us left the hall. We all ended up in detention with Theo getting a month and me, Tom and Enzo only getting one day. Over the last few months Mattheo has continued to talk to me and act really nice, clearly he hasn't given up yet. I was sat in the courtyard when he came and sat next to me.

"Not long after the start of the school year me and Tom both overheard a conversation between. Draco, Blaise and Mattheo.  In this conversation they placed a bet. Draco and Blaise bet Mattheo he couldn't get me to be his girlfriend because of how over protective you are. Ever since then Mattheo has been annoying me and even ask me out at one point." I turned to face Tom who now had his hands on my waist. I put one hand on his shoulder and the other on his face and kissed him before I looked at Mattheo. "You know Riddle it's like I told you when you asked me out, right surname wrong Riddle. Clearly Tom got all brains and all the looks." I then looked at Enzo "make sure Theo doesn't get himself expelled" I took Tom's hand and we headed to his room.

Theo ended up beating Mattheo up really badly but because we were so close to the end of the school year he went unpunished until the start of the next school year where he was given two month's detention.
I always thought him being so protective would stop me from getting a boyfriend but in the end that and the bet is what helped me get one. My one true love.
