Mattheo and Tom Riddle were the closest brothers you could lay eyes on. They never argued and always stuck together but now Mattheo is terrified of his brother. When the two joined Hogwarts Mattheo became friends With Theodore Nott and his group, where as Tom was alone because every student in the school was scared of him. Well every student except for Sophia Nott.
She was curious about him. She couldn't understand why everyone was so scared of him. She felt bad that he was always alone. Sadly trying to talk to him would be impossible. "Soph you need to promise me that you will stay away from Tom, he's really dangerous. I dont want you to get hurt, please promise me you will stay away from him." She had to lie "Yeah sure I promise don't worry." This was going to be very very difficult. Tom was in all her classes and so was Theo, Mattheo and there's friends. The only class that it was just her and Tom was advanced potions and today was the first lesson for it. She walked in and the only empty seat was next to Tom. She would have to be careful though as the other Slytherins could easily report back to Theo. She sat next to Tom and naturally everyone started whispering. She felt his eyes on her and loved the feeling of having his attention. Half way through class he slid her a note "your quite brave sitting next to me, everyone including my own brother is scared of me. Why aren't you scared of me?" She wrote back "should I be scared of you?" He never responded but he did stare at her for the rest of the lesson. That evening she was doing homework when Theo and Mattheo came bursting in to her room "Soph you promised you would stay away from him. What were you thinking he could of hurt you." She suddenly realised she was right. "Firstly Theo it was the only empty seat left so where was I supposed to sit, on the floor! Secondly do you seriously have people spying on me. You better not!" He stayed quiet for a minute "Soph I'm sorry I just like to know that your okay and your safe." She sighed out frustration "Theo I understand that and I appreciate how much you look out for me but it's a bit much having people spy on me, that's an invasion of privacy and it has to stop or else I'm telling Snape!" She stormed out her room and headed for the Astronomy Tower grabbing her fire whiskey from her secret hiding place on her way there.
She sat there drinking alone for about fifteen minutes when she heard footsteps behind her, she recognised the smell. "Never seen you up here before Tom" He sat down next to her. "I could say the same, now who's got you upset enough to be sat here alone drinking." She took another swig "I just found out my brother has people spying on me when he's not around. I know he wants me to be safe but it's a step to far." He looked surprised "I knew he was protective but I didn't think he would go that far." She figured he deserved to know the truth. "When you and Mattheo first came here and Mattheo became friends with Theo they both told me you were dangerous and I had to stay away from you. They made me promise I would do as they say. I promised but to be honest I had no intentions of keeping that promise. A little bit ago Theo and Mattheo came barging in to my room and were mad at me for sitting next to you in class, that's when I realised my suspicions were correct he really did have people spying on me. I gave him a peice of my mind then stormed out and here I am. Drinking my sorrows away." He took the bottle out of her hand and took a swig "well drinking alone is no fun. I don't understand why Mattheo tells everyone I'm dangerous. I'm not sure why he hates me so much. It all changed over night. And he refuses to tell me what happened." Maybe she can find out she thought to herself. After some more chatting she went back to her room. The next day they all had free period so she took the opportunity to ask Mattheo since he was alone in his room. "Mattheo I was wondering if you could tell me why your so scared of Tom, if you feel comfortable telling me that is." He sighed "well you might as well know. Two years ago we were sat in his room playing wizards chess before bed, we were having fun everything was normal, we went to bed happy. The next morning I woke up and Tom was in the kitchen when I went down and he tried to Avada Kadavra me. That's when things changed." She had to speak to Tom about this. In there next advanced potions class she slid him a note and told him to meet her at the tower after curfew. When he arrived she told him everything that Mattheo told her. "I never did that, I would never even think about harming him. I remember waking up the next morning later than normal. I went to his room to check on him but he was already up. When I got downstairs he looked scared and refused to speak to me. I tried to get through to him for months and months but he refused to listen so I stopped talking to him all together in the hopes that one day he would come round and talk to me but it hasn't happened yet." She could tell he was struggling talking about it "let's talk about something else for now. That was a lot for you to digest." They sat talking for almost an hour and neither of them wanted the night to end. He walked her all the way to her dorm "sweet dreams darling" he said as he kissed the back of her hand. She knew she was blushing and she knew he had seen it but she wasn't the only one blushing.
Over the next few weeks her and Tom would secretly meet at the tower after curfew most nights and tonight they were on a date, it was the most magical night she had ever had. He made it so special and she really did feel like a queen. "Thank you for all this, it really was an amazing night. No one has ever gone to this much trouble for me before." They were stood facing each other leaning against the railing, he took a step closer to her and put a hand on her cheek, looking in to her eyes he said "Darling you are worth every single second spent planning it. I would go to the ends of the earth just to make you smile. You really have no idea how special you are to me. Your the first person who has looked past the Riddle surname, looked past the mask I wear everyday, looked deep in to my eyes and saw the real me hiding underneath. Sophia it took me a while to realise this but ive fallen in love with you, every single thing about you. Your just perfect." She put one hand on his chest on the other on his cheek "I love you to." They went in to a gentle kiss that quickly turned deep as he pulled her as close to him as he possibly could. They stood there making out until they were out of breath. He rested his forehead on hers "you have no idea how long I've wanted to do that. Will you be my girlfriend?" She kissed him deeply "Yes!" She said excitedly and he quickly joined his lips to hers again. When he walked her back to her dorm there little kiss turned steamy and they ended up having sex. They had there first kiss together and lost there virginity together. Sadly he couldn't stay all night incase Theo caught them. They kissed goodnight before he went back to his room.
They have now been in a secret relationship for three months and its getting harder to keep a secret. They've almost been caught many times. She was in her room laid on her stomach on her bed reading a book when Tom came in. He waisted no time in straddling her and started massaging her shoulders, after a few minutes he started placing kisses on her neck as he started to remove her top and her bra. Sophia sat alone at dinner as the others were still in detention, they had Saturday detention for pranking Snape and it was up to him wjen there detention ended. After dinner Sophia went for a walk before joining the others in the common room. When she arrived she saw Tom sat in chair by the fire while Theo, Mattheo and the others were sat on the nearby sofa's. She noticed Theo had a look of death on his face and he was glaring at Tom. When he noticed his sister had sat down his death glare shifted from Tom to his sister. Tom immediately senced that Sophia felt scared so he kept an eye on the situation while trying to not make it obvious he was watching. When she noticed the look on Theo's face all she felt was fear. "Theo why are you looking at me like that? Why do you look so angry?" His anger couldn't be contained any longer and he took it out on the one person he always swore to protect.
"You want to know well let me tell you. I'm angry because early this afternoon I was sent by Snape to find you and when I did I found you having sex with Tom bloody Riddle!" Theo stood up and started walking towards her "tell me dear sister out of all the guys in this school why did you have to pick the one guy I specifically told you to stay away from. Why did you have to whore yourself around for him. You know he's just using you right. How could you be so stupid!" He grabbed her wrist really hard causing her to cry out in pain "Theo stop your hurting me!" Before Sophia could finsh her sentence Tom had already jumped out his seat and pulled her away from him while Mattheo grabbed Theo. Tom held Sophia tightly to his chest while she cried. "Theo what the hell is wrong with you talking to her like that and hurting her what the hell were you thinking! I get your angry that she did it with Tom. Believe me I'm not happy about it either but taking our anger out on her is the wrong move. Calm the hell down!" Screamed Mattheo. Theo's girlfriend Pansy then had a go at him "Theo I love you but you really are an idiot. You called her a whore yet Tom is the only guy she has ever had sex with and damn well know that as well. What the hell has come over you. Your sleeping in your own room until further notice!" Sophia continued to cry in to Tom's chest unable to accept the fact that her brother just hurt her. "Darling it's alright no one's going to hurt you. I've got you alright." Tom whispered in her ear before placing a gentle kiss on her head while he continued to sooth her. "Theo I get you hate me but don't take your anger about me out on her. At least Mattheo is keeping his temper under control." Theo had been sat with his head in his hands ever since Mattheo pulled him away. "Why Soph just tell me why you did it." He still hadn't looked up and had no idea she was in Tom's arms "last time I checked Theo I don't need your permission to have sex especially with my own boyfriend!" She shouted with her croaky voice, tears still falling as she laid her head back on Tom's chest. "BOYFRIEND!" Chorused Theo, Mattheo and the rest of there group. Theo had now now stood up and saw his sister in Tom's arms. "How long sis, how long have you been sneaking around behind my back!" He shouted at the end which made her flinch. On instinct Tom pointed his wand at Theo which made Mattheo flinch "Don't you ever raise your voice at her again!" He angrily said to Theo. He put his wand away realising he had scared Mattheo "can't you see she's scared enough as it is. We've been in a secret relationship for three months." Mattheo wanted to talk but was to scared to so Tom took the lead "we got close while she was helping me figuring out why Mattheo's scared of me because I had no idea, turns out it's for something I didn't even do." Mattheo now confused finally spoke up. "What do you mean didn't do? It was you I saw you with my own eyes pointing your wand at me and trying to kill me." Tom knew there was only one way to get his brother to believe him. "Ask me anything you want under truth serum and you'll see it wasn't me." Mattheo got the serum and after Tom drank it the questions began. "Did you try and kill me in the kitchen the morning after we played wizards chess?" Tom looked right in his brothers eyes "no I did not, I woke up later than I usually do and went to your room to check on you but you were already gone. When I came down you were scared of me and refused to talk to me and I had no idea why. You have no idea how much the last two years has hurt me." Mattheo looked saddened and shocked. After a few minutes he regained his ability to speak. "I'm asking this because it's best if Theo keeps his mouth shut, do you truly love Sophia." Tom moved her head away from his chest and lifted her chin so there's eyes were connected "I love her with all my heart, I would move mountains, leval cities and burn the world to the ground to protect her. She's my queen and she will always be treated like one." He placed a delicate kiss on her lips before pulling her back his chest. "I'm sorry Tom I should of heard you out when it happened. I put you through two years of pain for no reason. I hope you can forgive me one day." Tom smiled at his brother. "I'll make you a deal Mattheo, you teach Theo to keep his temper under control and all will be forgotten." They shook hands and the deal was done. Theo sat with his head in his hands and tears in his eyes as the realisation finally hit home. His sister, the person he swore to keep safe from all harm and he ended up being the one to harm her. "Darling do you want to talk to Theo?" She shook her head "that's alright you don't have to until your ready to." Tom looked at Mattheo "he is not to be alone with her until she is comfortable with it."
One sibling bond had been fixed and the other one had been fractured.

Sophia didn't speak to Theo for four weeks, when she finally did it was with the Riddles there. Him hurting her brought back a lot of bad memories so it took time for her not to be scared of him. Eventually she felt comfortable being alone with him in a public area where the Riddles could sit near by but not with them. By the middle of summer the bond had been fixed. Theo got the help he needed and kept his temper under control.

The bond between siblings is a special one but the bond between the Riddles and Notts as a group ended up being stronger.
