The Riddles - Mattheo And Tom One shots

I choose you

I'm sat in the great hall waiting for the start of year feast. Me and my best friend Mattheo Riddle aren't paying any attention to the sorting but we decide to listen when he says there is two new students arriving. The headmaster introduces them as Lorenzo Berkshire and Blaise Zabini. They joined seventh year slytherin with us.
"Don't like the look of them, I get the feeling they will cause trouble."
"Mattheo you think every guy that joins is going to cause trouble."
"Just protecting my princess. Also when does Theo get back?"
"Not for another few weeks" my brother got in an accident during summer break so he needs to take a few weeks off school to recover.
It's been a few days since the new boys arrived and both of them have tried to talk to me on numerous occasions. They seem really nice and polite but it's obvious they only want one thing and I'm not interested.
I was on my way to the library when I got stopped by the new boys.
"Sophia might we have a chat"
"If you must"
"Have you seen your family contract?"
"My what?"
"We'll  take that as a no then. Your family contract was drawn up by your parents. In the contract it states that you are to be married off to a pure blood. Your parents would pick two potential new husbands and you have to choose one. We are the two you have to choose between."
"Haha very funny"
"Were not joking. Ask Theo if you don't believe us." A few weeks later and Theo finally came back.
"Theo we need to talk."
"Yes we do and you might want to sit down for this."
"If this is about the family contract I already know. The new boys or should I say the potential husbands I have to choose between told me."
"I'm sorry sis. I only found out yesterday. Father told me to tell you."
"I'm not marrying either of them. No one can make me"
"You have to pick one."
"Well I'm not." I stormed off and went straight to Matteo. As soon as he opened the door I broke down in tears. He picked me up wrapping my arms and legs around him and carried me to his bed. After I had calmed down I told him about the family contract. He went nuts.
"No Sophia you can't marry one of them. Please you can't. I won't let you."
"I don't want to. I want to marry someone else"
"Who?"
"Please don't make me say it" I was shaking a little and starting to get that familiar lump in my throat.
"Why are you so scared to say it?"
"Because it's you Mattheo. I'm in love with you and I have been for as long as I can remember. I don't want to marry either of them because the only guy I want is you." I was in tears through most of that. He looked at me with a shocked expression and the silence got to much for me so I ran off. I could hear him shouting for me to wait but I was to fast for him. I spent next two weeks avoiding him. Enzo and Blaise were constantly annoying me begging me to make a choice but I kept refusing. I was under to much stress. I was barely eating and hardly sleeping. I was also starting to fail most of my classes. I had enough I couldn't cope anymore anymore so I wrote to the only person who I knew would help. He replied giving me permission to stay with him. I packed my trunk and left without anyone knowing a thing. I left no note or anything. I know I should of but if I had then someone would of come after me. I need space from all of them. After a few hours I arrived at my destination. The door opened and he opened his arms for a hug straight away.
"Tom I've missed you so much. Hogwarts sucks without you."
"I've missed you to darling, now let's get you unpacked and fed then we can have a chat and you best send a letter to Dumbledore so they don't launch a search party. Also Sophia you know when Mattheo hears you've left he will know exactly where you went and if he writes asking, I can't lie to him."
"I know, if he does write just tell him I need space to think or else I might explode. I miss him and I miss his hugs but I need time to think about everything."

Mattheo's POV
Sophia hasn't spoken to me for two weeks. She ran off before I had to the chance to respond to what she told me. I wish she would talk to me I'm worried she will be forced to marry one of them before I can tell her the truth. She hasn't been in any of her classes today. She doesn't look well and she's failing her classes as well. All this marriage stuff is stressing her out.
I went to her dorm after she didn't show up for dinner and her room was empty. All her stuff was gone. I ran to Theo's room and told him. We ran straight to the headmaster.
"Boys you need not worry, I just received a letter from her. She's left for an unknown period of time. She explained what was going on with the chosen marriage and the stress got to much. She didn't say where she was but she said she is safe." There's only one place she would go but before we can go there I need to plan a few things first.
