Its now June the 30th and as the time reads 8:30am and as Christie is suddenly woken as there unborn twins are kicking very hard which can be felt by a hand. "I need to get up and go to the loo"Christie says. "Let me help you"Sean says. "Ok Sean"Christie says. As Sean Miller helps his fiance to the restroom to get ready to leave before 9:30am as they've got a baby scan at 10am with Doctor Lacey while over at the Casey's household Andrea been fed and changed and Jim gets out of bed and walks over to the nearest chair and he asks Gabby to make some breakfast. "Gabby can I have something to eat please"Jim asks. "Of course you can Jim what do you fancy in other wards whats your favourite breakfasts"Gabby asks. "Bacon Sandwich with Ketchup"Jim says. "Coming right up Jim"Gabby says.
As Gabby's cooking Jim's breakfast he speaks up before his daughter Violet comes downstairs with Matt and Louie. "Gabby can I ask you something please before Violet comes downstairs"Jim says. "Go ahead Jim"Gabby says. "When I'm gone I want you and Matt to look out for Violet please"Jim says. "You don't need to worry about Violet at all"Gabby says. "Thanks Gabby for you and Matt letting me stay here"Jim says. "No problem and here's your Bacon Sandwich with Ketchup"Gabby says. Thank you very much Gabby"Jim says. "You're welcome Jim enjoy"Gabby says. As Jim Jordan is eating his Bacon Sandwich with Ketchup as Matt is carrying his 4 year old son Louie downstairs followed by Violet. "Morning mommy"Louie says. "Morning buddy"Gabby says. "Hello dad"Violet says. "Morning my love"Jim says.
"What do you want to do today"Violet asks. "Firstly we're all having breakfast"Jim says. "Yes please mommy"Louie asks. As Gabby's making pancakes for the rest of her family including herself while over at the Dawson house Brett Evan and Diego are having a day together as Antonio is working hard on a case under cover as Neil Grieves as they try and catch someone who killed a persons entire family. "What do you want to do today kids"Brett asks. "Can we just have fun and talk about things as a family"Eva says. "Kids I didn't get a chance to say this at your mom's funeral but I'm saying it now"Brett says. "Go ahead Brett"Eva says. "I'll always be here for you both but I'll never replace your mom"Brett said. "You've been here already ever since my mom died"Eva says. "What about you Diego"Brett asks.
"Can we get to know each other first"Diego asks. "Let's start with what we're all afraid of"Eva says. "Thats a no brainer for me"Brett says. "What are you afraid of Brett"Diego asks. "I'm afraid of clowns"Brett says. "What are you afraid of Diego"Eva asks. "You know I'm afraid of Creepy Crawlies"Diego says. "What about you Eva"Brett asks. "I'm afraid of dying and letting everyone down"Eva says. "You don't need to be afraid of that"Brett says. "I miss my mom everyday"Eva says. "I know you do Eva it's not even ben a month since her funeral if you ever need time on your own don't hesitate too"Brett says. "Thanks Brett"Eva says. "What about you Diego"Brett asks. While Eva Brett and Diego are talking an getting to know each other a bit more while over at the hospitals Disabled Parking Lot Sean and Christie walk through the hospital and have arrived at the Maternity Ward where Christie walks up to the reception desk and. "Hello there what can I do for you"the receptionist asks. "My name is Christie I've got an appointment at 10 with Doctor Lacey"Christie says. "Oh yes I've found you Christie why don't you take a seat and Doctor Lacey will be out to get you when she's ready"the receptionist said. As Christie and Sean wait in the waiting room Sean takes outa big bottle of water and now he's opened it Christie drinks it all. "Thanks love"Christie says. "You're welcome love Christie"Sean says.
Now that the clock is reading 10am and Doctor Lacey arrives in the waiting room and. "Is Christie Casey here"Dr Lacey says. "I'm here Doctor Lacey"Christie says. "Why don't you come this way guys"Doctor Lacey says. As Doctor Lacey leads the way to her room as Christie and Sean follow her and a few moments later they arrive at the room and Christie gets straight onto the bed and she pulls her top up and Sean takes her fiancés right hand and. "I'm just going to apply the gel on your stomach it might feel cold"Dr Lacey says. "Thats okay Doctor"Christie says. As Doctor Lacey applies the gel on Christie's stomach and moves the probe over the gel which is on Christie's stomach the twins pop up on the screen. "Doctor hows our son and daughter doing"Sean and Christie both say.
"Here's your son as Twin A"Lacey says. "He's got a strong. Heartbeat"Christie says. "He certainly does"Lacey said. "Can we see our daughter please doctor"Sean asks as Doctor Lacey moves the probe over her stomach and. "Here's Twin B your daughter"Lacey says. "Our daughter's got a strong heartbeat too"Christie says. "Yes she has love"Sean said. "All the measurements are exactly where they should be for 23 weeks"Dr Lacey says. "Thats good doctor"Sean says. "Do you have any questions you want to ask me Christie"Doctor Lacey asks. "The only question I have right now is about giving birth"Christie asks. "I'll have to speak to your Doctors involved in that one"Dr Lacey says. "When will I know Doctor"Christie asks. "Not exactly sure all depends on when they're all available to talk to them"Dr Lacey says. "Okay Doctor"Christie says. "I'll see you in 3 weeks time when you're 26 weeks"Lacey says.
As Doctor Lacey wipes the gel off Christies stomach and hands over the scan photos to the couple then Christie and Sean can leave the room while over at the Casey's house as the lock now reads 2:30pm Jim Jordan as been asleep for the last 3 hours and with Andrea having her afternoon feed from mommy as Louie is doing some colouring in as Violet is finishing off some drawing that she started the other day as Matt comes in the room from sorting out his tools. "How's everyone this afternoon"Matt asks. "I'm fine Uncle Matt just finishing this drawing I started the other day"Violet says. "I can't wait to see it once it's finished"Matt says. "Daddy can I have a drink please"Louie asks. "Of course you can buddy I'll just go and get it for you"Matt said as Matt gets his son a drink Gabby as one of her thoughts.
Gabby's POV
As I breastfeed our daughter Andrea who was born on the 6th of May I can't help but think about Violet who's going to lose her dad at anytime. Matt and I brought Jim in here as a thank you for Christie as there daughter Violet stays with him til he dies as we all didn't want want him to go through his treatment or even die alone as Keri Hathaway is looking after the family business while Christie is recovering and Violet is off age to take over it. While being a paramedic I get to see everyone at there worse time of their lives but when it comes to your own family it doesn't get any better.
Christie's POV
When my ex-husband Jim told myself and Sean that he's suffering from Kidney Cancer all I could think of was our daughter Violet is going to cope the whole way through this all. When the Doctors found out that the treatment had stopped working and there was nothing else that the doctors could do to save Jim and Violet without a dad to grow up with. Jim told us that eh didn't want Violet to know that her dad was gonna die from this horrible disease that takes soo many lives and destroys many families. I don't know how to react when Jim dies and Violet as lost her dad as I knew it was gonna happen I'm just hoping that Violet can forgive me and be the big sister to her siblings that she's always dreamt of.
Matt's POV
As I put my differences to the side as Jim sleeps in his bed all I can think about is our niece Violet as she's the person who matters the most. I feel sorry for what Jim's going through I wouldn't wish this upon anyone to go through Cancer as Violet is watching from afar. I feel sad tho for Violet who's going to lose her dad at any moment. As Jim's losing his battle to live my daughter Andrea who's almost two months is only beginning hers. As Violet is with her cousin all my wife and I can do is just be here for her as she grieves for her dad when he dies and hopefully she'll forgive us all.
Jim's POV
Since I found out that I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer the first thing my mind went to was my daughter Violet I didn't want to die and leave her to grow up without me for the rest of her life. The worst part was when the Doctor told me that the Chemotherapy Drugs that they was giving me was not working at all in fact they found out that I'm allergic to whats in the drugs used for Chemo. The worst of all I knew that I was gonna die from this and Violet needs to have as many memories with me her dad. The two things that I'll never be able to do are walking my daughter down the aisle on her wedding day and the birth of my first grandchild.
As everyone in the Casey household are asleep apart from Matt and Gabby as Andrea has just been fed and changed and ready for the night. Now that Andrea's been done Matt and Gabby decided to head to bed. As the ight draws to a close and before you know it its 7am on the 1st of July and Violet is the first one up in the Casey household and as she goes downstairs and knocks on her dads room theres no answer so she gets a glass of water before returning to her dads room where she decides to go in the room where she calls her dad three times and with no answer Violet nudges her dad and when he doesn't respond she checks his pulse and instead of words coming out she screams the house down...
