It's been too long. He's sat in this cold ass stone floor unable to move, chained to the wall. This is the wort about being captured. The endless 'are people coming?' And so many more questions that the run through the brain.
Hearing fighting happening outside the cell, he doesn't even have the energy to look up to see what was happening. He feels exhaustion and the pain, he misses everyone. He can't stay focused, dissociating often without knowing. "Hey, there darlin'" he hears the southern accent it brings him out of his head space and he looks up to see k in the door, he's leaning the cage door is wide open. God he's hot.
His brain is a mess, cause the next thing he knows k is in front of him and unlocking the chains around his wrists. "You okay?" K seems to be breaking the spacing. "I'm doing alright" he manages to responds. K moves his hands away from the chains and koa to which koa grabs him "don't go" it barely comes out it's so quiet. "I'm not goin' anywhere puddle." Tears start falling down his face. K panics slightly then sits with koa and tries his (k's) best to comfort him.
Once the tears stop k helps koa get up and get out. The two of them meet up to everyone, everyone is glaring at k, as soon as koa sits down kin is checking him out for injuries and everything, when kin did that k backed off and the fog came back and he dissociates. When he comes back k is sitting right next to him legs just touching, everyone else has a face of distress and possible anger. That night k stayed very close to koa. The nightmares start from there and when he wakes from them k is there to comfort him.
