The ship sailing smoothly along the ocean. Akal and Lucius seeing a new part of the world. Lucius watches over Akal, they'd normally be happy going to a new place but all Lucius can see in his eyes is sadness and tiredness as the elf hadn't slept since that day.
Lucius has been in charge as Akal hasn't faced it yet. He believe Mar is okay. Ends is not. Lucius took it upon himself to go to Lanta find the guards and tell them that their solider died fighting for ends life a good knight who got manipulated. Akal came along to see the what Mar's home was like and to give Mar's diary to the knights, bloodied and ragged as it was now.

Lanta is a magical place that Lucius and Akal have never seen. To be honest Lucius is the only one with his head up and looking. Akal keeps his head down and holding Lucius' hand something that barely stops since Mar died it's not the same hand he always held Mar's with. He's making everything hard to do, akal wanted to come with Mar and so did Lucius but it can't happen.
The conversation with the knights went well? Not really they all threatened to kill them and almost went through with it. The knights have Mar's diary. Which Lucius thinks broke Akal more. The knights are grieving which is why they threatened them, well that's what Lucius is trying to think, as they leave Lanta. Neither of them thought they'd be welcome after bringing the news of the death of a knight especially one that was meant for the prince. Akal had apologised so many times to the knights, while Lucius was trying to be a good soldier/knight he could be.

Once they got to land it was dark so Lucius found a place for them to stay. Akal went in first without a word as it has been. Before Lucius goes in he turns to where the night meets the sea and says "We've been to Lanta Mar. You've got a good home with good people." He turns and sees Akal waiting for him.
"I think ends is here with us like you were always with onyx" Akal says the first thing in months. Lucius runs over and hugs them.
Neither of them see the purple glow that comes from where Lucius was looking.
