Koa waited until it was dark to leave. It wasn't hard to get out of the house, living there his whole life and knowing how to get out without his father finding out. The maids had been talking about kels ship returning later on in the day so he was looking for that. The only problem is he doesn't know what his uncle kels ship looks like.
He ran down the streets going into alleyways where ever possible to get to the docks as fast as possible, he was so glad that he could see in the dark. Figuring out what ship he was looking for was hard so he picked one, went in and hid in the storage.

The ship had set sail at some point early in the morning maybe? Koa couldn't see there were no windows. A door opened to the room, koa wasn't hiding enough as he heard the voice say "koa is that you?" Kin's voice calmed him immediately
"Yeah, had to get out."
Kin smiled when fae heard that. Koa being introduced to the crew was a chaotic time, but he was glad he got on the right ship.
