The glare Vidaila gave koa while he was on the ship was a mix of anger, jealousy and betrayal. Vidaila doesn't care about what he's gone through he cares that koa found someone new and that he meant nothing to Koa, but he doesn't care. Koa is in too much pain to care, he's exhausted. His old wounds still hurt even though it's been a few days. Koa goes back to spending his time in the crows nest looking out for things. He knows that if he's down on deck he's getting glares, from Vidaila, from Kin.
Kel is making sure kin is busy enough to not come up to the crows nest. Ze understands why koa didn't tell kin about being married in fact ze agreed on koa's reasoning. Koa does see the glares Vidaila gives kal, he's probably told kal to avoid koa because of certain reasons. Not that kal has actually listened to Vidaila.
Kal has probably heard all the shitty names koa gets called on the Tempest. Koa's brain wanders off thinking about kal, when something catches his eye, the quick movement hurts as he sits up. They are heading for a storm, shit. Koa yells down "Strom front ahead." Captain kel looks at koa, nods slightly and starts yelling at the crew to start tying things down and preparing for the storm.
The rain came in quickly whilst stuff was being tied down and koa was getting down from the crows nest, the water making the ropes slippy, but he's done this before so why was he struggling this time. By the time he gets down he's soaked and slipped a few times, a couple times he thought kin was right for that fact he shouldn't have been up there. Everyone was in the ship except from a few people, koa makes his way to the interior of the ship. He makes his way to his room, Vidaila is there, "move Vi"
"No, I'm not 'Vi' to you anymore either" Vidaila's voice stern, his arms crossed standing in front of koa's door,
"What do you fucking want"
"One more time me and you"
"Fuck right off Vidaila" koa tries to shove past him but he's too exhausted to when Vidaila pushes koa back he (koa) hits the other wall hard. Koa sees the slight panic of Vidaila's face before he starts running off for some reason. Koa does not care on why he ran, koa got into his room, he gets in his hammock. He's tired and just wants to sleep.
He hears his door open and close. "Koa, darlin' ya can't sleep yet" Kal gently puts his hand on koa's cheek, koa opens his eyes a little, kal continues "come on ya gotta get up."
"M' tired"
"I know darlin' but ya can't sleep," kal starts trying to help him get up, koa does wincing every so often, he doesn't understand why the wounds hurt so much. Kal helps koa walk to the galley where Eleanor is with Kel and kin in just them kal helps koa sit down that is when koa realised something was wrong, "did I do some wrong" koa mumbles talking was hard because of how tired he was.
"No, koa" kin says fae seems worried realising he hasn't noticed "koa you opened the wounds again"
" I have?" Koa looks down and sees that his shirt is covered in blood "oh I have." Eleanor heals Koa to were his wounds. The boat was rocking a lot the storm was in full force. Kel ruffles koa's hair "Kid take some time to rest, out compass needs to be in good condition to help," as ze walks off to make sure things are going as best as they can. Kin looks at koa "you should listen to me more often," waking out after Kel.
Koa doesn't move from where he's sitting and kal stays with him while there's other people are doing lots of work. At some point koa does fall asleep his head on kal's shoulder.
