Waking up close to K's face was unexpected. It was funny when he backed off then huffed. So what Koa is now confused about is how he managed to be sitting next to k while he is leaning on Koa's shoulder and he wrapped his arm around K. Wrapping his arm around k was an unconscious decision it just happened but it feels comfortable. Being around k is probably the most comfortable he's been in a while. "I could tell you a story if you want something" koa asks. "You know what darlin' go for it."
And that's exactly what koa did, started telling a story about a wolf, a lone wolf, who was lost and very lonely. This wolf looked for more wolves only to be rejected by the pack for some reason but one of the pack members wasn't so quick to judge or cast the lone wolf out in fact the two got to know one another and they thrived together. The friendly wolf left their pack to join the lone wolf in its travels...........
Koa stops at that point, "I don't remember the rest." K looks up at koa and gives a small smile "tell me the rest when ya remember then." "I will"
The rest of koa's shift they talked about everything and nothing until the sun rose. Then the travel went back koa would catch himself staring a k every now and then.
He's catching feelings, he shouldn't but he is. He wants to welcome the feelings but he doesn't want it to be one sided.
