When Kal found Koa he was covered in blood. He helped get Koa out. Once they've met up everyone he's still covered in blood, he can't do this Kin, Ax, this grey tiefling and this human sees him covered in blood. He isn't entirely present and they are looking for injuries that aren't there them trying to figure out why there's so much blood. "It's not my blood it's my wife's" he says it quietly but they all heard because it all got so loud that he covered his ears and his tail wrapped around Kal's wrist so nothing goes wrong. He doesn't hear what's said he isn't present enough to hear any of it. What he does know is that Kin is crying and there might be an argument happening.

They found an inn to stay in he got his own room. He's sitting on his bed. Kin's there talking to him, he hears none of it. Fae look like faem is getting more annoyed as fae talks, like he should be answering but he just can't hear anything. At some point Kin left and he had fallen asleep as the next thing he knew he was sitting up screaming out of fear, Ax and Kin come rushing into the room. Koa is curled up covering his ears he doesn't want to do this. He doesn't want this. He doesn't sleep for the rest of the night, Kin and Ax don't leave taking turns staying up with him. Kal is sitting behind him, Koa's tail is wrapped around his wrist, Kal is gently rubbing his hip trying to comfort Koa. He might be crying he doesn't know. Everything is just empty like it's all just hitting him now everything done everything said.
While Kin is awake fae sits in front of Koa maybe asking him questions maybe just talking he doesn't know. He looks at faem and fae just look at him. Fae is here for him. He doesn't have to do this alone. He might though. He knows Kin is there but Kin won't always be there.
